Happy Father’s Day (a little late) to this guy! I was his sidekick on the farm from the moment we moved there from the city — more often riding on the tractor than on cows (despite what this photo might lead you to believe) — and am still sticking close to him to this day (now that we live in adjacent homes)! He led by example and I could always depend on him to be there for me, his family, and for the many exchange students and foster kids that my mom and he took in over the years. He fostered my love of the movies, showed me what it means to be a good Catholic, and taught me the satisfaction and reward of hard work. Always quick with a dry observation or joke, he still, at 84, makes me laugh. Love you, Dad! ❤️ by @amyofwindsor

Another incredible Festival International de Louisiane weekend! There is nothing better, after a year of meetings, thought, and prep by the merch team, than seeing all of our work on display — and for people to have a hard time choosing what to buy because they like too many designs! Ended the semester with a marathon day of commencement coverage with the best team I could dream of. Thank you, @kade.parker & @annaclaire.c.z for making this semester one of the best, even while it was one of the most challenging as the university was rocked with some serious changes and loss. It’s not the same without michelle (at a new job) and Margarita (who is certainly in heaven, if there is one). Further thanks to my other student workers, including Leo (who just graduated!), social media team members, and to my work friends and colleagues that make every day not just easy to show up, but a pleasure.❤️ @ullafayette Bonus holiday pics with family at the end! taken in University of Louisiana at Lafayette by @amyofwindsor

🌊🌊🌊 Wave is engineer Santiago Calatrava’s first large-scale sculpture to be permanently installed in the United States [at @SMU’s Meadows Museum in Dallas]. The sculpture measures 40 feet deep and 90 feet long with 129 equally proportioned bronze bars. These bars are connected to a mechanism that makes it rock sequentially, imparting to it a four-cycle, wavelike motion. The sculpture was installed over the shallow, slow-moving water on a black granite pool, which reflects this movement. Never thought we’d get a blizzard in Louisiana, but sure am glad we did! Cooper and I broke out the old snow clothes from our days in Wisconsin and went for a walk in the first blizzard to ever be declared in south Louisiana. The 1895 record of 14” of snow still stands but we came in with an assured second place today.#louisianasnow #snowday taken in Lafayette, Louisiana by @amyofwindsor
