Well I never thought I’d be posting abt cheer again but here I am…
I have been an all star cheerleader for abt 16 years of my life and I can finally say I have conquered one of my dreams and that is winning Summit!
I never thought I’d be cheering again after I’ve been retired for abt 4 yearsss…

My cheer journey is crazy to say the least, I went from cheering and being a flyer at local competitions, to different gyms, to competing at summit once and then straight to worlds teams, to which I continued to pursue to try out for a worlds team at my dream gym which was cheer extreme Raleigh. I was on 2 worlds teams there, cougar coed and code black. Although I never got to win worlds, the gym itself, the people, the family, the athletes, the coaches was a winning experience. After being away from home I decided to retire and hang up my cheer shoes. Within those years I have missed every second of competing, and especially flying, and being with my teammates and coaches that turned into family. I always said if I got another chance to compete again I would and sure enough, I got a txt from one of my best friends @suttonhodges asking to cheer again and next thing u know I’m on a plane to practice.

I want to thank @rockcheercompany for allowing me to take the cheer floor again not only with old teammates but new teammates that became family as well! I am so blessed to have stepped on the floor one more time and to finally check off on my list that I won summit! I want to thank @cullentaylorr and @zachrogers9 as well, u have truly made my dream come true and brought back my passion for the sport I love🩵

I also want to thank all the coaches and everyone who has watched and helped me grow up into the athlete I am now!

Lastly, I want to thank my family and friends and especially my parents @jjsabs for making my dreams come true and pushing me to pursue my dreams. Little me would be so proud! I wouldn’t be, not only the athlete I am but the person I am today, without u guys and I love you all!

I would say I am officially retired after this but somehow I always find my way back to cheer so here’s to whatever the future holds and until next time 🩵💙
