1300 degrees later, 24 hours of continuous burning alongside the best people!

Bits from the days of reinforcing and firing our neolithical style handmade ceramic kiln, at @sona.solstice 🔥 The big sandcastle turned 3 this year and it's still standing tall.

From the natural clay of Şona to a tower of fire, which produced our first red flame up top this year!
Heavy lifting after a hard winter, with fresh twig reinforcements, newly made bricks, and a truckload of just harvested clay from the hill, and the best people around the fire:

Rezidența se apropie de final iar momentan ne aflăm în fața focului, aşteptând ca lucrările să se ardă. ❤️‍🔥
Mai târziu în zi, după ce vom aduce cuptorul la 1000 de grade celsius şi îl lăsăm să se răcească timp de o zi, o să putem să scoatem obiectele din cuptor.

This weekend, we are presenting @ancatintea in a solo booth at @rad.fair. Anca Țintea (b. 2000, Romania) is an experimental photographer who prints on found paper. She takes an expressive and poetic approach to the “real,” turning fleeting moments into tactile, warm, crumbling, folding, vivid and concentrated objects. She juxtaposes meaning systems through a confrontation on the page: a handwritten novel, reference systems; with her diaristic chronicling of daily life. taken in Bucharest, Romania by @ancatintea

Here's to the longest time i've sat with my head upside down on the map, Australia! incredibly incredibly grateful for all the wonderful people i've met and the animals and birds i've seen, the people that made it possible and the fantastic nature there is on this planet! being on the road to see so much of life has been a gift
