Last night to visit Miritrovai per una Selva Oscura [open until 10PM] ‘Being lost appears again and again in the stories we tell: someone leaves what they know, enters unfamiliar ground, and has to find another way through. In the hero’s journey, this loss of direction is necessary, because before something can change, the comfort of the familiar needs to be left behind.’ Curated by Răzvan Bungărdean & Benef Rubini Architecture by Andrei Stănescu Luca Sîrbu, Mondo Liminale, 2025 Bianca Papuc _ Resonance, 2026 _ Attached * Bound, 2026 Giulia Crețulescu, Weapon no.8, 2024 Anca Țintea, My mind’s eye feels like looking through a door’s peephole, 2025

Beyond painting, ALMOST ALREADY TOMORROW unfolds through photography, sculpture, textile, mosaic, printmaking, collage, readymades and works that move somewhere in between. Across these different practices, time takes on different forms — embedded in the process of making, held within materials, or made visible through the way a work occupies and changes in space. Together with the paintings we shared a few weeks ago, these works complete our look at the 23 artistic practices brought together in this year’s Jecza × @himera.ro Summer Show. ALMOST ALREADY TOMORROW, curated by @norbertfilep , remains on view until September 6 at Jecza Gallery and Himera. Visiting information: Jecza Gallery Timișoara (is now open again after a three week hiatus) Thursday–Saturday 11 AM–7 PM Free group guided tours every Saturday at 4 PM - please book your visit ahead using our Calendly link @himera.ro Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays By appointment on their website. - Dimitrie Gora Lego Ceausescu, 2025 lego, plywood sheet 61 x 61 cm Sebastiana Coman Rest de desen pastel on paper Andrei Hâncu Chick, 2021 enamel paint on aluminium composite 88 × 76 cm Stefania Iakab Icon from the Twilight Zone, 2026 3d print, wool resin 106 x 40 x 45 cm Andreea Ioniță If a Story Is Present wood 164 × 40 × 2 cm Andrei Neciu Playing With My Mental Health.

Organized by MATCA artspace in 2025, the project returns less than a year later to Rezidența9 with a selection of its outcomes, proposing new dialogues and connections with the local artistic context. In retrospect, the exhibition brings together a wide range of subjects through a non-linear journey, featuring works by 29 artists.

@fundatiastefancaltia
