Overcome with zest for life
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I was reluctant to share this on a “business” account as I like to keep my personal life more private nowadays, but I realize this coincides beautifully with my passion and the backbone to what I do.

From the first two weeks of meeting him, I knew that he was the one. While I truly believe that he is a part of God’s plan for me, there are some key characteristics that makes “us” effortless.

- Not blaming the outside world (or each other) for mishaps.
- ACTIVE LISTENING - this isn’t just with your ears, this is with all of your senses.
- MY PILLAR - as a female with a cycle and a roller coaster of hormones, Joseph HOLLLDDSSS the fort down. Exactly what, in my opinion, a man needs to do for us women.
- Give and take - There is balance in how we show up for each other, and because of this, we feel we can give our whole heart.
- Saying, “I’m sorry”. Not “I’m sorry you feel that way.” Unfortunately, at least in my time on earth, it’s hard to come by humans that can put their ego aside.
- Making little sacrifices - Realizing we can’t have it all and deciding what’s important. Often this will come with sacrifices.

Our society tries to tell us that money can buy happiness but its healthy relationships that bring us PEACE.

On top of him being amazing and planning this, he had the help of friends and family and this meant the world. This was such a perfect day.

I’m excited and feel so much peace.

Ps - Thank you to everyone who has already spammed my dms with congratulations 💕💕 by @andisolowka

Tomorrow evening our local Toastmasters club celebrates 20 years! 20 years of learning how to communicate better!!!

My dad has been going since 1997… a year after I was born (lol). I used to think it was a random club where people threw toast at each other but now I see the endless value.

This was a recent speech I did for our Area contest. I qualified with a speech I wasn’t fully feelin’ so literally the night before, I whipped up something from the heart.

I shall continue to share the never-ending wisdoms that I’ve learned from horses. 🐎 ✨ and hopefully something might resonate with you too 💕

Sad to hear the news today, that Studly dudly (Ricky, registered name: Shug fittin Britches) passed away. This horse and his children raised me. He died at 26, just before I turn 27. From his little white tipped ears to his question mark star to his hoofers, he was an all around class act. •
•
For a stallion, he was incredibly good natured. I have a distinct memory from when I was around 10 or younger, where I told my mom I had lead Ricky from his pasture to his stall. Her response was somewhere along the lines of “What?! Who let you do that?!” Because Stallions can be more unpredictable as their instinct can often take over when they smell a mare in heat among other reasons. But no, he never hurt me, Ricky taught me to trust. Partly because he probably knew my mom would surely set him straight if he hurt me. •
As I got a bit bigger, he would test me. With that, he taught me that even though HE was bigger than I, I could remind him to respect my space and stay present with me. •
•
In and around all of that, I witnessed the birth of many of his foals and later had the opportunity to create many amazing friendships, and in particular, a super strong bond with my one main squeeze, Sparrow (one of his daughters), and his late-life girlfriend, my wee Dual Jazz. •
•
Rest in peace Ricky. Hard to believe all of these horses that raised me have been aging.. I guess they’ve all just frozen in my brain. 🐎 ❤️ by @andisolowka
