Is your horse engaged or just following routine?

It’s easy to repeat the same patterns until our horses seem to do them on autopilot. But are they really with us? The same question applies to people: are we present, curious, and paying attention—or simply going through the motions?

While this may not be a reliable way to test blood pressure, it’s still a super fun isometric exercise!!

By holding this position against the wall, your muscles are contracting without moving. Blood vessels are being compressed, and your nervous system is adjusting to the demand.

BOOM! When you step away and suddenly relax, blood flow and muscle tension change—your arms may naturally drift up, down, or stay relatively level.

Go do it with a piece of dark choco in your mouth!!

Us humans really are a problem.

Naturally, we want control. While this can be handy for our survival, we’re also social beings and we need each other.

If we want to have other beings in our lives with meaningful relationships, we need to focus less on CONTROL, and more on understanding. It ain’t an easy task but it’s SO worth it in the long haul.

Take your time, open your mind, look for different approaches or points of view.

For years, our founder (Bridgitte) has believed that word of mouth is still one of the most powerful ways to discover something truly good. Not through paid endorsements. Not through someone being given a script. Not because they were paid to tell you they love it.

But because someone genuinely loved a product enough to tell someone else about it.

We don’t pay influencers to say they use or enjoy Giddy Yo.

When someone shares our cacao with a friend, brings our chocolate to their family, or tells someone about a product that has become part of their routine—that means something to us.

Because authentic enjoyment can’t be bought.

And when it comes to food, we think that matters.

We want you to choose Giddy yo because you tried it, you loved it, you believe in what we’re doing, and you want to share it.

No manufactured hype.
No paid praise.
Just real food, real people, and real word of mouth.

Recognize the try—not just the result. Effort doesn’t always look polished, and progress isn’t always obvious, but choosing to show up and keep going matters. Sometimes, having someone notice the courage it took to try is exactly what gives them the strength to try again.

If a horse can feel a fly, you better believe that positioning your pelvis, seat bones and engaging your core, right down to the awareness of your legs is ✨ paramount ✨ to your communication with these four legged critters.

And oh snap, self awareness also helps with our human relationships! WOO HOOOOOOOO!!!! #beginnerhorserider #horsebackriding #trotting #posture #equestrianbeginner

A random experiment that had a super surprising result! Society has got us doing some whacky shtuff with our bodies. So much so, a lot of us have lost connection to what our body is trying to tell us and what it neeeeds!!!

Andi has a whole lot more to share on how her health has changed in the last 2 years but that’ll come at a later time!
