Delighted to have had the opportunity to present LIMEN, BBA Studio’s vision of “the luxury experience hotel room” of the future, as a finalist project at the @hoteldesignerawards

LIMEN reimagines the hotel room as a space dedicated to well-being, identity, and sustainability, challenging traditional notions of luxury defined primarily by aesthetic choices.

Derived from the Latin word limen, meaning “threshold,” the project transforms 36 m² into a site-specific and guest-specific environment, designed to adapt to individual needs while expressing the identity of its surroundings through sound, light, and seamlessly integrated technology.

Set in Sardinia, the guest experience unfolds through three distinct moments — Arrival, Stay, and Rest — creating a journey of regeneration, comfort, and a deeper connection with the surrounding environment.

More than just a hotel room, LIMEN is a living space that evolves with those who inhabit it, redefining the luxury of the future through meaningful experiences, personalized well-being, and embedded technology.

Our sincere thanks to @hospitalitydayrimini, @teamwork_rimini and @elledecoritalia for this wonderful initiative and for creating an inspiring platform for dialogue, creativity, and reflection on the future of hospitality design.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our vision!
