2026 ✅ Probably my best season so far, with the Giro and Vuelta as the highlights.
81 race days and a lot of great memories. In hindsight, 75 would have been enough. Plenty to be proud of though.

Stage 7 of La Vuelta was special from start to finish. Two riders in the move, a brilliant team effort and 1st and 2nd as the reward — with Leknessund powering through from the very start to secure the biggest win of his career. Truly special. 🤍

Oh man, I’ve been working hard and waiting for this one. It didn’t come for free today either.

A special day for our team, starting the day with a minute of silence for our king Harald, and finishing it off with a 1-2, with Tobias taking second, made it even more special. He deserved it just as much as me today.

Thank you so much for all the messages! by @andreas_leknessund

OUR FIRST VUELTA STAGE WIN. A HISTORIC ONE-TWO ON A VERY SPECIAL DAY 🤍

Andreas Leknessund takes his first Grand Tour stage victory on Stage 7 of La Vuelta a España, with Tobias Halland Johannessen completing a historic Uno-X one-two. After finishing second three times at this year’s Giro, Andreas finally gets the win he has been chasing.

It was always going to be a special day for our team following the passing of King Harald V. Before the stage, our riders stood at the front of the peloton for a minute’s silence in his memory, wearing black armbands in honour of King Harald and his lifelong passion for sport.

For Andreas and Tobias to then deliver a one-two made an already emotional day one our team will never forget.

This was exactly the kind of racing we came to La Vuelta for. Andreas helped establish the early break before Tobias bridged across on the first climb, giving us two riders in the five-man group at the front. With six kilometres remaining, Andreas attacked and went solo. Behind, Tobias played it perfectly, leaving the others to chase before securing second place and an unforgettable Uno-X one-two.

Giro. Tour. Vuelta. We have now won a stage in all three Grand Tours — all in the same season. A historic victory on a day when we rode in memory of King Harald V — «Alt for Norge». Denne var for vår idrettskonge 🇳🇴

One year of aurafarming in this jersey comes to an end!

Tomorrow we’ll find out who gets to wear it next. Personally, I think it would be the most environment-friendly and cost-efficient if I get to kept it for at least one more year. I think that’s best for everyone. I’ll bring it up at the team meeting tonight. 😉🇳🇴 by @andreas_leknessund
