Another UG-Berlin encounter of sorts.
1. Main mission achieved: BL/W positive development of viewmaster exposures -produced on Bulingugwe Island some months ago- at the lovely and reliable @fotofehling . Framing in reels for stereo viewing and proper digitisation soon.

Today, with the help of @sheila.nakitende , each of the 157 copies special edition of “Abundance extracted. Living with mining and oil in Africa” was numbered and ‘branded’ “mine”!

This morning @cultuurtuin306 and their second #artistinresidence parted ways. As tends to be the case, this end marks a beginning.

The beginning of a book design, shared after breakfast in first draft with hosts @irma144bo and @papierlabrotterdam .

Saturday, as a side effect of a modest contribution to general work at @snvrotterdam the trees on Eef’s arm appeared to beg to be photographed. And so they were, and, #noai ! Unfolded into a 360 panorama.

Apart from the lovely inter human encounters, the artist expects to miss to be watched by the eyes of the Oregon Cypress next to the gate, and the flowers that keep shooting up from the grass in front of the garden house.

What he saw. In a hacked sort of stereo. Left Eye, Right Eye. With both eyes, a particular kind of ambiguity. And when stepping back, a full colour version of a spot in @cultuurtuin306 shrunk to A3.

The month as #artistinresidence at @cultuurtuin306 is almost over. It was both a welcome distraction from (other) parts of life and one causing stress because of to do lists and stuff.

Time to start thanking people, with a small work in progress display put together on the occasion of an afternoon organised by @stadsparkwest - which took place a week ago.
