Used our fair budget to go to @minarirestaurant instead! Shout out to the very mysterious deli container on top of an electrical box that I used to take this photo of us.

Crabby about the wait, but wept through the whole exhibit and didn’t take pix of all my faves. I hope they put these in the MiA for awhile. The inherent politic of crop art hits me deeper and deeper each year. Here’s the story we can tell with the things we can grow. Fair with friends! Starting my campaign for adding two days to the @mnstatefair! The Instagram girlies have made it THE place to be and it is so crowded. A hot tip we got was to go see crop art in the afternoon which we did not do…. I’ll share some of my faves in another post. Fave foods of the day were the smashadilla, Al’s blueberry pancakes, sips of ice cold Honeyweiss, the Hmong corn dog (even though it fell apart), and the ube wontons from @saturdaydumplingco! taken in Minnesota State Fair by @andreawaves
