Caribou country.

A week on the North Slope in the Brooks Range chasing caribou, hiking more than 60 miles, crossing rivers barefoot, and spending what felt like half the trip behind binoculars and a spotting scope.

We had northern lights, fresh snow on the mountains, long days in the tundra, cold river crossings, a lot of glassing, then a little more glassing.

Very thankful for the opportunity to spend time out here. The tundra has a way of humbling you. There are moments where you’re tired, beat down, and just kind of sitting there wondering what the hell you’re doing.

Then you look up.

Mountains in every direction. Open country as far as you can see. Blueberries growing right at your feet. And for a minute, you just sit there and appreciate where you are.

1 year of Isla Renae 🫶🏻

We can’t believe it!
Our sweet baby girl is officially 1!

It feels like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital, looking at each other and saying, “What do we do now?” We took turns sleeping because we were so worried something might happen.

Then came tummy time, rolling over, sitting up, getting on her hands and knees, crawling, pulling herself up, and now she’s standing on her own and walking while holding our hands.

She has the sweetest personality, the biggest smile, and brings so much joy to our lives every single day. We can’t wait to watch her continue to learn, grow, and become the amazing little girl she’s meant to be.

Birthday party is next weekend so let the festivities begin! 🥳🎉

Had an absolute blast up in Sitka, Alaska. Sometimes even the camera guy gets turn the handle. Absolute bucket list trip that was so much fun to film. The guys at @cast_alaska are some of the hardest working, best captains and crew I’ve ever spent time on a boat with. Thank you guys for the epic times. More photos to come.

It’s amazing where a camera and a fishing rod will take you..

From catching fish on the shoreline of the Niagra River to seeing it above the clouds. This was such an epic way to close out our @fieldandstream shoot in New York! Thanks to @rainbowairinc for letting us see our fishing spots from the sky!
