We have been going to Ms. Kim @earlylearningswimacademy after Isla turned one. So for about 2 months Isla was going daily for swim lessons. Officially this week we are on maintenance lessons! 🤗
I’m so proud of Isla and how quickly she has learned and I’m so thankful to Ms. Kim for being so patient with not only Isla but all the kiddos she helps teach! 🫶🏻

Huge thank you to everyone that contributed to Isla’s swim lessons!

Making core memories! 🥹
What’s more fun than playing in a puddle in the drive way as a kid?! I remember riding our bikes through them growing up and the big ditches in the streets! Best times! @staabsteffen remember?! Hehe!🙃

Life lately at @fieldandstream

From noodling catfish in Oklahoma to 60+ miles on a caribou hunt in Alaska, fishing in Sitka with Mikey and Tanner, 23 miles on foot in one day to catch golden trout in Montana, and watching bison in Yellowstone at sunrise.

A lot of miles, a lot of early mornings, and not much sleep. Feeling grateful, thankful, exhausted, and ready for some fall weather.

Our first stop on the Bozeman tour with @fieldandstream brought us to @sportsmans_warehouse where we decided we would get geared up for the week.
@hardmanfishingadventures and I tackled most of the fly gear while @fishlikemike and @dilllfish took on all of our spinning tackle.
Turns out @dilllfish is a huge fan of spinners and needed every colour that Sportsman’s had in stock. The real question is just how many spinners did we buy? Comment below 👇🏼

Caribou country.

A week on the North Slope in the Brooks Range chasing caribou, hiking more than 60 miles, crossing rivers barefoot, and spending what felt like half the trip behind binoculars and a spotting scope.

We had northern lights, fresh snow on the mountains, long days in the tundra, cold river crossings, a lot of glassing, then a little more glassing.

Very thankful for the opportunity to spend time out here. The tundra has a way of humbling you. There are moments where you’re tired, beat down, and just kind of sitting there wondering what the hell you’re doing.

Then you look up.

Mountains in every direction. Open country as far as you can see. Blueberries growing right at your feet. And for a minute, you just sit there and appreciate where you are.

A few frames from the week.
