Inquire Within EP is out today on @fine.stdio.

Inspired by my meditation practice, this 3 track EP is best enjoyed from front to back. Take a break from the screen, turn on your favorite sound system, close your eyes & enjoy.

It has been a long long time since my last release and I am relieved to start sharing what I have been writing these past few years.

Good morning lovely people. I wanted to take a moment to show off our beautiful kitties. Here is Katsu (orange)… a mute, cuddly, sweeeeet boy. And then Nagi (white/orange) a loud, wining, demanding, but suuuper loving boy. They are about 2 years old, they are sooo cute, and we love them so much. by @andychen.music

As a result of this debate, the Bach 2000 was made... A compilation of Bach’s works sold as a set for all to enjoy.

This story was told to me by my high-school Musicianship teacher, Mr. Gerald Jones. He was one of my favorite teachers I had the privilege to study under.

Are YOU a VUMP? Is your favorite artist a VUMP? This is the filter I have for every artist, musician, composer, etc.. including myself.

Would love to hear your thoughts 😌 by @andychen.music

My first release of 2025 is out now via @fine.stdio.

“Tears of the Snake” rings in the Lunar New Year with an electrifying atmosphere. Inspired by the dark driving textures of techno and the harmonic intensity from the classical world, this track really pushed me beyond my comfort zone.

Excited to hear what you think 🙂‍↕️🧧🐍 by @andychen.music

I made this track in anticipation of the Lunar New Year. It signifies the transformative nature of the Snake. I am so excited for you to hear it. Titled “Tears of the Snake / 蛇之淚“, the track sheds many tears in the delicate process of leaving the old and embracing the new.

Musically, it is a deviation from the usual 4-on-the-floor dance music I know and love. It explores an avenue of dance music that fuses Asian instruments and textures with rich timbral synthesizers.

The entire budget surrounding this release is committed to assisting the friends & families affected by the LA fires. Please directly message me their GoFundMe or donation page so I can contribute.
