We stopped by to see my buddy JT at the new Fielding’s River Oaks where he’s running the show. Food was unreal, atmosphere was awesome, and the service couldn’t have been better. Honestly, best steak I’ve had in Houston.

Christmas break update. If you don’t like barf stories, run…. Picked the boys up from early release Friday. Did some grocery shopping they were hungry so got them HEB sushi, 10 minutes after eating Cooper was projectile vomiting non stop. He’s the kind of puker who gets nervous, tippy toe prances about 4 feet, does a quick chicken dance, cocks his head back and rips it. 50 points for the bed, 25 points for chunks in the sink I had to dig out, 100 points for the bedroom door, 30 points for in his shoes. 20 piles of barf and 4 laundry loads later we were convinced it was the sushi. The first time out of the house we head to church. 20 minutes in I see Cade at the end of the row goosnecking and blasting the occupied chair in front of him during a prayer with Shipleys OJ and kolache ralph chucks and fizz. The nice man turns around, flabbergasted, gets one more shot to his Italian leather loafers as I haul the family in shame to the exit. Cade is a respectful puker but a bad aim, get him a trash can and he will miss 6 inches to the left every time. His best shot was on the wall next to a dresser packed 400lb with shit that sits flat on the ground. I’m scooting this thing around the room cleaning the trail of ooze as I go. The minute he gets better, Sunday night Mack causally blasts the full glass door with splatter barf then baptizes the leather couch for good measure - never dropped the PlayStation controller though, proud of him for that. He did get the last 3 shots into a “trash can” I brought into his room only to find out it’s a plastic flower pot with holes at the bottom for drainage. I realize my mistake as I’m hauling the puke bucket down the loooong hallway as it fertilizer cart sprays me any everything in our path to the bathroom. This morning I’m up cleaning up 4 more “almost made it into the trash can” but I’m a dead aim at the pillow that’s next to it. Merry Christmas to all! by @andygithens
