The new UNDERFOUND website is live, bringing our Altrincham barbershop, menswear store, booking system and creative world into one place.

Rhiannah talks through what’s changed and what you need to know before 1 September.

1. BOOKING

From 1 September, our new booking system takes over. You can now book two appointments at once, useful for parents booking two children, and Apple Pay makes checkout quicker.

2. SHOP UNDERFOUND

Our online shop is now connected to our in-store stock. Browse new menswear collections, check what’s available, keep up with upcoming drops and place pre-orders before visiting us in Altrincham to try things on properly.

3. MEDIA + COMMUNITY

UNDERFOUND has never just been about hair. The new media hub brings together Heavy Pencil, our YouTube films, Spotify playlists and more of the creative projects, stories and people around the shop.

4. YOUR ACCOUNT + LOYALTY

Existing customers should have received a link to claim their new UNDERFOUND account. Get it set up before 1 September and save the site to your browser. This will become the home for bookings, account management and the wider loyalty experience we’re building.

We’ve been working on this for a long time, and now we want your opinion.

Which part of the new site will you actually use most?

The best experiences don’t happen by accident. They’re designed that way

@hairconshow gave us the opportunity to take everything UNDERFOUND stands for and build it on a completely different scale.

But bringing that vision to life meant wearing every hat imaginable.

Running a busy shop.
Looking after our Studio clients.
Designing the space.
Producing the content.

All at the same time.

Andy & Rhiannah both agree @victoriawarehouse was the perfect home for HairCon and how we set out to create more than just a stand.

We wanted to build a space where hair, independent fashion and music could exist together naturally; just like they do every day at UNDERFOUND.

Every great event starts with an empty room, a vision… and a tape measure.

Andy & Rhiannah head to Manchester’s iconic Victoria Warehouse to plan one of our biggest projects to date: UNDERFOUND Presents: HairCon After Dark

From checking the space and mapping out our stand to imagining how hair, fashion, music and creativity would come together under one roof, this was where the ideas started becoming reality.

Sometimes the most exciting part of a project is standing in an empty space and seeing what everyone else can’t yet.

People said trade shows were dying. Maybe they were just doing them wrong.

When we had the opportunity we collaborate with HairCon, we didn’t want to turn up with a stand and hand out flyers. We wanted to build something people would actually remember.

In 2025 we had the pleasure of exhibiting UNDERFOUND for the very first time at HairCon.

But that’s only part of it.

UNDERFOUND Studio produced the content.
We took over the main stage.
We brought the music.
We created UNDERFOUND Presents: HairCon After Dark.

This wasn’t just another industry event.

It’s what happens when hair is treated as the central point of fashion and culture.

Osaka in 24 hours 🇯🇵🏮

A whirlwind stop in one of Japan’s most vibrant cities, packed with incredible food, culture and a few hidden gems.

Thursday
🛏️ Checked in at The Rise Osaka

🪭 Experienced an unforgettable sumo show with @japanhirakuza

🏮 Explored the buzzing streets of Kuromon Market, Shinsekai and Kitashinchi

🥃 Ended the night with cocktails at @bar_ey_blue

Friday
🏮 Started the day at Universal Studios Japan 🎢

🚄 Then hopped on the Shinkansen and headed to Kyoto for the next chapter of the trip.

One of the best parts of building UNDERFOUND is getting to collaborate with genuinely talented people who understand the vision. @barberevo on the road was definitely a highlight

This shoot with photographer @liamoakesphoto perfectly captured the balance between fashion, culture and community that sits at the centre of everything we do. From the brands we stock, to the people involved, the entire day felt authentic to who we are as a business.

A few years ago, stepping into the hair industry felt completely alien for @andyjohnconway. Now it’s become a full blown crash course in creativity, business ownership and understanding what clients actually need from the people behind the chair.

This trip to Liverpool with Barber Evo On The Road was more than just an event. It was a chance to spend time around some of the best in the industry such as @alan_beak @simonshaw_ss @dean_gleeson_ . A massive thanks as well to @wahl_uk for the Magic Clips that have barely left Rhiannah’s hands since.

None of it happens without the people around you either. @rhiannahrose has been a massive part of helping bridge the gap and making sense of an industry that once felt completely outside of Andy’s world.

New connections, new ideas, magazine features, great conversations and another reminder that if you’re the smartest person in the room... You’re in the wrong room!
