😳Owners Are Up Against It😳
-
And they need to know that their agent is on their side!
-
So when we go into our meetings & whack them with the need for a price change...how do you think they feel?!🤬
-
In order to help them process any price change, we need to show them what we're going to do FIRST to try & avoid it.
-
Saying after the event that you spoke to 1730 buyers & none of them wanted to buy it is NOT going to help by itself.
-
Saying ahead of time WHAT you're going to do, HOW you're going to do it, & most importantly WHY you feel it can help, allows owners to see that you're going into battle AHEAD of them to try & protect the value of their asset.🤺🤺🤺
-
If they see you execute & realise that you're doing everything possible, then they have much less doubt around adjusting their sights on the figures.
-
But the key to this is working AHEAD OF TIME. Try to do it after the event, & owners will blame you before they blame their home 😳

🔥BUILDING EXCITEMENT AT VIC AUCTIONS🔥
-
An awesome discovery today was the ability to generate POSITIVE EXCITEMENT during the auction call!😁
-
By treating the reserve as a 'finish line', and counting the distance remaining to get there, the speed of bidding got quicker & the energy in the auction was WAY MORE POSITIVE!👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
-
BIG WIN OUT OF TODAY!😊😊

🏠 COVID Changed the Market. Why Are People Still Trying to Predict It?

“COVID was the great reset. It really was.”

On the latest episode of the Reventon Property Podcast, @andyreidcoaching shared his perspective on the current property market — and why he finds the psychology behind it just as fascinating as the numbers.

The market is a complex mix of variables. Interest rates, inflation, supply, demand, migration and buyer confidence all play a role.

But here's the problem…

People are still making confident predictions about what happens next, as though anyone has a crystal ball.

COVID fundamentally changed the landscape. The world faced an event on a scale that modern property data couldn't fully prepare us for, yet experts continued making predictions — many of which didn't unfold as expected.

And it raises an important question: how much confidence should we really place in anyone claiming to know exactly where the market is heading?

At Reventon, we believe successful property investing isn't about pretending to predict the future.

It's about understanding the data, recognising market cycles, assessing the fundamentals and making informed decisions based on what we know — while preparing for what we don't.

📊 You can't control the market. But you can control how you respond to it.

Don't get caught up in the noise. Focus on the fundamentals, do your research and build a strategy that can stand up to changing conditions.

🎙️ Catch the full conversation with Andy Reid on the Reventon Property Podcast.

💬 Do you think anyone can accurately predict where the property market is heading — or is too much of it outside our control?

ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR OUR BELOVED LAW-MAKERS!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
-
Wow team, you've really outdone yourselves this time!😂 and P.s. - when you mess around with the legislation for one part of the process...you may wanna actually take a look at the rest of it.
-
Unfortunately, what you have done is make yourselves 1 of 2 things...you're either completely incompetent, or blatantly playing cheap, thoughtless moves to grab a few votes. Or both...which is it @bencarrollmp ??🤨

Culture. It’s one of those words that gets thrown around way too often and never really lands. 🤔

But Dara Simkin is about to change that. 🔥

Dara is the co-author of Full Stack Human and she brings science and data to something most workplaces have completely forgotten about.

Play. 💙

Turns out we’re not playing nearly enough at work to even begin growing a culture of real value. And when curiosity drives happiness and productivity? Teams actually enjoy showing up. 🤯

This one is for every property manager and leader who wants to build something worth being part of.

Dara is also part of our incredible lineup for Success Curious LIVE and I cannot wait for you to experience her energy in the room. 🔥

📅 12th November 2026. Success Curious LIVE.

The very first. And it’s going to be something special. 💙

Some people walk into a room and you just know. 💙

Jess Alvial is one of those people. 🔥 As National Head of Property Management at McGrath Estate Agents, Jess brings a truly phenomenal awareness to everything she does. The way she interweaves deep empathy with a razor-sharp business mind? There is genuinely nobody quite like her in the leadership of the property management space.

And I am so privileged to have her join us as a co-host for Success Curious LIVE. 💙

You’ll understand why real fast. 😄 📅 12th November 2026. Success Curious LIVE.
