We are so happy to announce our incredible judges who lent their time and experience reviewing all of this years films!

First is 🥁🥁 ANDY PETERS @andywpeters
EDITOR, FOUNDER OPEN WATER POST @openwaterpost

Andy is a film and commercial editor and the founder of Open Water Post, a boutique post house in East Nashville. Born in the Midwest and raised on a steady diet of westerns and classic WWII films, he had his sights set on filmmaking early. He spent the first 11 years of his career cutting in Los Angeles, working with brands such as Sony, Amazon Prime, and Adidas, before moving his family to Nashville and opening his own shop. He recently cut Frequency of Hope, a feature documentary about an Alaskan mother who rebuilds her life after addiction by turning a failing radio station into a lifeline while chasing the Mrs. Alaska crown. taken in Rock Nashville by @andywpeters

will not take shortcuts. I will not take shortcuts. I will not…

As an editor, I use keyboard shortcuts constantly. But when it comes to building a career or growing a business, there are no shortcuts. The @agreener piece in my edit bay serves as a funny reminder of this.

#throwbackthursday drop.

I watched a great short doc last night by @steptstudios, and it got me reflecting on my time cutting OUT NORTH with @ericryananderson @g.wood.land and @kkaattt from @binderynyc. Nothing like being in the doc trenches with an amazing team!

“Monsters aren’t born. They are made.”

Stoked to finally get my hands on this!

@joon_the_goon I remember back when you first shared your work with me I wondered why you didn’t keep pursuing a graphic novel work. Timing is everything. Love your talent, brother. Keep sharing it with the world!
