CARDIFF HALF 2026 <3🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I moved to Cardiff 3 years ago and have cheered on runners on every year, but this was my very first time running Cardiff half!! It is now one of my all time favourite races!! The support on the course was UNMATCHED which was needed when I hit the wall early and almost lost the motivation to try for sub 2. So thankful for my amazing bf and friends for keeping me going 🤍

Thank you @run4wales and @cardiffhalf for the most amazing time.

The countdown to @frankfurtmarathon is on! (Double or nothing am I right?) 🇩🇪

I know this is a little different from the content I usually share on here, but this is exactly why I believe in using a platform to create awareness.

We teach women how to avoid being assaulted.
It’s time we taught boys not to assault people.
And teaching your boys not to assault people isn’t enough if they stand by while someone else does.
Silence is not accountability.
The 57 boys who saw that group chat and said nothing matter too.
Women shouldn’t have to build their lives around staying safe from men.
Teach your sons. Challenge your friends. Speak up.

September 🍂

A month of new things. New work, new schools, new people and new ways to bring back a passion for running. Lived off the highs of successful long runs and got through the lows of long (and what felt like very unfulfilling) days. Excited for October 🤍

“I began playing hockey when I was 7 years old. I spent a year figure skating beforehand until my dad (who plays hockey) asked if I wanted to play hockey like him! I joined and loved it. I was very shy growing up and hockey has always been such an amazing outlet for anything: stress, anxiety, jitters etc. I loved feeling fast and strong, especially since not many girls I knew played hockey in school. I liked the idea that women didn’t have to be delicate! I made amazing friends on my teams back home in Canada. I then joined my dad’s men’s team and play with them when I go home to Canada. Just this January of 2026 I tried out for the Pentyrch Aliens men’s team in Cardiff and made the team! They’re an amazing group of lads who have shown me that hockey actually exists in the UK (as I hadn’t played for the 2 first years I lived in the UK) I’m so grateful to the hockey community!”
