JIJI’s JAZZ CLUB is a vibrant monthly jazz and arts event held at @residentdtla, located at 428 South Hewitt St in Los Angeles’ Arts District, near Little Tokyo. It’s an immersive experience that blends live jazz, open jam sessions, and a curated vendor market — creating a dynamic atmosphere reminiscent of New York City’s underground jazz clubs.

Organized by @tidathaitea, JIJI’s Jazz Club showcases a diverse lineup of performers including the featured artist @yocoya_band. Each event typically features a main performance followed by an open jam session that invited any musicians to take to the stage. The evenings also include food, cocktails, art, with vendors offering unique items such as tattoos and handmade goods.

The club is named after the founder’s cat, inspired by the Studio Ghibli film “Kiki’s Delivery Service”, adding a whimsical touch to the venue’s identity and experience.

Check out @jijisjazzclub this summer every last Wednesday. FREE 21+
