Skills that go Beyond the Classroom! 🎣

Izzy attended our Recent Hook Girls-on Fishing Event sponsored by @cca_florida in New Smyrna Beach, FL at the awesome @marinediscoverycenter.

And this is what her mom had to say after the event...

"Thank you for an awesome event! Izzy took her new knowledge & gear out the next morning and caught a redfish and a flounder. She is definitely HOOKED! 🙂"

Way to go Izzy from all of us here at AFC! 😄🙌

Hooked Girls on Fishing! 🎣💖

This past Saturday, AFC hosted the Hook Girls on Fishing event sponsored by @cca_florida at the Gorgeous @marinediscoverycenter in New Smyrna Beach, FL. 🌴

Not only did we have a tremendous turn out of Lady Anglers and their Moms for this event!

But @boston_whaler and their WoW team joined us to help share Fishing & Marine Education as well as the love of Conservation with these Future Marine Stewards! 🚤

We caught Fish on @fishbites, shared lots of laughs and made memories for a lifetime through Fishing and Education. 🐟

And each Lady angler went home with a Fishing Rod & Tackle Box complimentary, thanks to the support from @fishfloridatag_ ! 🎣

Thank you so much to our volunteers and all of our sponsors who help AFC provide these impactful events and support the resources needed to continue our mission of Conservation and Creating Future Marine Stewards.

We couldn’t do it without them! 🌎 🌾
