It’s happening!! 💥After months of planning, we’ve begun installing the tallest ever mural in the United States (!!!) – at nearly 300 feet tall on the side of NYCHA’s Morrisania Air Rights at 3125 Park Ave in the Bronx.

The mural is being painted by @Angurria with the design developed in partnership with @foga_atelier and residents of @the_morrisaniaairrightshouses

Residents selected the team of Angurria and FOGA from an open call; and the design came together through a dozen community workshops 🎨🖌️

We’re currently 2 weeks into a scheduled 5 week install. Drop by 3125 Park Ave (Bronx) to see it go down!

This mural is produced by @ArtBridge in partnership with @communityfundnyc with help from @monumental.do

It is made possible with funding by @maccosmetics VIVA GLAM 💅✨

Y tú, ¿cuándo empezó lo tuyo, o todavía no llega? by @angurria

🏙️ 29 STORIES. ONE BRONX. A NEW LANDMARK.

We’re proud to announce that installation is underway of what will become the tallest mural in the Bronx—and the tallest in the United States—rising 29 stories at NYCHA’s Morrisania Air Rights in the South Bronx.

Created by an artist team led by Dominican muralist Angurria with community engagement and strategy executed by FOGA in partnership with the Morrisania Air Rights Residents Association, ArtBridge, and the Public Housing Community Fund, this monumental work is about more than scale. It is about using public art to celebrate community, transform the built environment, and change the narratives too often told about the South Bronx.

The Bronx deserves to be seen from miles away. ❤️

Expected completion: End of October 2026. taken in NYCHA - Morrisania Air Rights by @angurria

Doña Pátria, the iconic #Dominican 🇩🇴 woman in rollers by artist @angurria is now clearly visible in what will be the tallest #mural in the United States and it's right here in The #BRONX!

Located at 158th and Park Avenue at @the_morrisaniaairrightshouses, the mural is already visible from afar and is quickly becoming a focal point for the community. Shout out to everyone on the team from @foga_atelier, @artbridge, @dovente.rd, @imayanaayo and sorry if we missed anyone!

Thank you so much @angurria for hosting this workshop 💐 “Líneas Propias: Sketching who we are” was a workshop aimed to connect personal DNA, cultural roots, and everyday storytelling through visual art. That’s exactly what it did!! Our community loved it.

This is possible through the partnership Atrévete a Soñar (Dare to Dream) mural series, funded through a state investment championed by Senator Pavel Payano @pavelpeyano and city council member Vivian Marmol @vivian_lawrencecitycouncil and organized by Elevated Thought @elevated_thought by @angurria

Donde Florece la Esperanza | Where Hope Blossoms 🌹 by @angurria, located at the corner of Essex St. and Jackson St.

An embrace to Lawrence’s immigrant community, this mural honors the families who have crossed borders, put down roots, and carried their histories with them. Through Doña Patria and the palmchat, Angurria celebrates our heritage while looking toward the generations shaping our future.

Thank you, Angurria, for leaving your mark on our city.
