Snippets of Odia festivals. 01 - 'Ratha Jatra' ( The chariot festival ) During the end of 'Ratha Jatra', Lord Jagannatha returns home with his siblings, after a week long vacation at their aunt's place. . The only catch is that he had forgotten to tell his wife, Goddess Lakshmi about this trip. So she is definitely not happy. . Upon trying to enter the temple, Lord Jagannath is stopped for a heated exchange between the couple. This ritual is also referred to as 'Lakhmi Narayana Kali'. . It symbolises the universality of domestic life. Also Rasagola never stops slaying. . Made with @procreate and @callipeg.app by @animationbaya

Hello Folks!! I have always been mesmerised with people coming together to make art. I wake up everyday to be humbled by new animation filmmakers and illustrators in India , which not only inspires me but also comforts at times of uncertainty. It has been in the back of my mind to build a community and make beautiful indie animation. Tell stories from our homes and beyond. A new name, with new hopes and new dreams!
