Running the Cahaba River in the @patriot.aircraft Super Patriot Mark I! This is adventure flying! ✈️ 🙌

Come along with Don Wade and me as we follow the bends of the Cahaba River through beautiful Alabama!

What impressed me most? 👀 The incredible visibility through the removable front and rear windows—and how stable the airplane felt while banking through the turns.

✈️ Aircraft: Super Patriot Mark I
👨‍✈️ Flying with: Don Wade
📍 Cahaba River, Alabama
🛩️ Patriot Aircraft: Bibb County Airport (0A8), Centreville, Alabama

🔧 A look at this Super Patriot:
⚙️ Lycoming IO-320 engine
🔥 Titanium exhaust
🦿 Acme titanium landing gear and shocks
🛞 35-inch Alaskan Bushwheel tires
🔴 Beringer wheels and brakes
🤠 King Ranch leather interior
🧭 Autopilot
👀 Removable front and rear windows

🎥 POV captured with my @oakley Vanguard Meta AI glasses—bringing you along for the ride!

Following the river with those wide-open views made this a flight to remember. Thank you, Don, for taking me flying and letting me experience the Super Patriot firsthand! ✈️

💬 Would you take a river-running flight in the Super Patriot?

Five lattes for Café Do, the Coffee & Dough Company in Parsons, Tennessee!

Family owned and operated, super welcoming, and such friendly people! This cute coffee shop has a vibe I absolutely love. 🤎

Driving through Parsons? Stop in, grab a coffee, and support this wonderful local family business. It’s a sweet little stop worth making! 🚐☕️

Draco has a claim to fame! 🐶🍦 He was the VERY FIRST pup cup customer at Common Ground Coffee & Books in Lebanon, Tennessee! 🐾❤️

First in line, whipped cream on his nose, and officially part of the coffee shop’s history! 😂

☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ Five lattes for Common Ground Coffee & Books in Lebanon, Tennessee!

A must if you’re in the area! The customer service was warm and welcoming, my oat milk latte was superb, and their baked goods looked amazing! 🥐📚

And they’re dog friendly—always a bonus when you’re traveling with your four-legged copilot! 🐾❤️

Chalk line, brakes on, and a nod from the legendary @anitragoddard of @nationalstol and @flysnf . Having her launch us at @stolukofficial this weekend was a real privilege.

Brakes off, throttle in, @hartzellprop Pathfinder bites and the @huskyaircraft did what Huskies do.

What a weekend. Huge thanks to everyone, @pophamairfieldeghp @pooleysflightequipment and those who came, flew, watched and made it happen #volunteer

The competition’s over. The edit’s just begun.

We shot every take off and landing at Popham in 360, and we’re now picking through the footage frame by frame to build some proper reels. Short runs, tight stops and a Husky doing what Huskies do.

Reels land this week. Stay tuned to @hinterlandpilot and @stolukofficial so you don’t miss them.# by @anitragoddard
