It’s always inspiring to witness new talent step onto the runway, and OLUMAY @shopolumay did just that with confidence, creativity, and style.

The Ankara Festival Organization was proud to provide a platform for this young African designer to debut her very first runway show in Los Angeles.

OLUMAY showcased a beautiful collection that reflected passion, artistry, and promise, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

We applaud her remarkable performance and are excited to watch her continue to grow, innovate, and make her mark in the fashion industry.
This is only the beginning, and we look forward to seeing the incredible journey ahead for OLUMAY. ✨👗🌍

King @sorobisusa at Ankara Festival LA 2026.
Sorobis stepped onto the LA stage with a collection rooted in Burkinabè tradition but styled for a global audience.

His silhouettes carried that signature earthy confidence, woven stories, bold geometry, and craftsmanship you could feel from the seats.

The fabrics moved like they had their own heartbeat. Rich browns, sun‑kissed golds, and deep indigo tones created a palette that felt ancient and futuristic at the same time.

The models didn’t walk; they arrived.

Every look felt like a declaration of identity, a reminder that African fashion is not trend‑chasing — it’s world‑building.

Sorobis became one of the most talked‑about designers of the night.

The Takeaway, Sorobis didn’t just represent Burkina Faso, he represented the power of African artisanship on a global runway.
