It’s always inspiring to witness new talent step onto the runway, and OLUMAY @shopolumay did just that with confidence, creativity, and style.

The Ankara Festival Organization was proud to provide a platform for this young African designer to debut her very first runway show in Los Angeles.

OLUMAY showcased a beautiful collection that reflected passion, artistry, and promise, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

We applaud her remarkable performance and are excited to watch her continue to grow, innovate, and make her mark in the fashion industry.
This is only the beginning, and we look forward to seeing the incredible journey ahead for OLUMAY. ✨👗🌍

@mikesyllaofficial: SENEGAL’S FASHION GIANT LIT UP THE AFLA 2026 RUNWAY 🔥

The Ankara Festival LA 2026 stage didn’t just witness a showcase. It witnessed a moment.
Mike Sylla, the legendary Senegalese designer delivered. His artistry hit that perfect intersection of heritage, futurism, and pure runway magic.

Every piece carried the unmistakable Sylla signature: bold storytelling, sculptural silhouettes, and colors that moved like rhythm and poetry.

From the first walk to the final bow, the audience knew they were watching a master at work.

Senegal didn’t just show up. Senegal showed OUT. Mike Sylla didn’t just participate in Ankara Festival LA 2026, he elevated it.

📸 Swipe through the recap and relive the magic.
🇸🇳 Senegal, you did that.
