Last year, during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Barbados, I had the honour of mentoring a young reporter with a deep passion for cricket and an ambitious dream of entering the commentary box.

Recently, he reached out to share the fantastic news—he’s made it, and his journey as a commentator is underway!

Watching others chase their dreams is always inspiring, and I couldn’t be more excited for him. Wishing @anmargboyce all the success in this thrilling new chapter. The future is incredibly bright!

To aspiring commentators:

Perfect the basics
Build relationships within the industry and understand how it operates
Keep working while you wait for your big break

Coming back to BCC, where my own journey in Mass Communication began, was such a full-circle moment. This time, I had the privilege of speaking to a new cohort of students and sharing some of the lessons, experiences, and realities I’ve picked up along the way.

It’s always special to return to where you started — but even more meaningful when you can pour back into those who are just beginning. ❤️

To the next generation of communicators: keep learning, keep creating, keep asking questions, and most importantly, trust the journey. Your story is only just beginning. by @anmargboyce

The Prime Minister’s Cup is here, and the groups have definitely given us something to talk about! 🔥⚽️

is Group D the Group of Death? 👀🏆 On paper, it looks like a group that could bring plenty of drama, surprises and competitive football.

What do you think ?⬇️ by @anmargboyce
