If I were to describe my life in the past 2 years and as I reflect on life in visiting Detroit again that word would be redemption. My years living in Detroit were painful and full of growth. It wasn’t till coming back how I realized how much I’ve healed since I’ve lived here. I can now visit without feeling stressed and anxious. Not only that but this gym is where started my journey of strength and growing muscle instead of did the focus of just losing weight. Looking back on who I was 2 years ago vs who I am now is 2 very different people. I’m thankful for the freedom I found in Christ and redemption in friendships and in life thank you Jesus by @anna___fedele

Obeying God comes with a cost. That cost is the cost of dying to ourselves daily. Obedience takes discipline. Discipline is a daily routine rooting in dying to the flesh in order to honor what God desires for us. A lot of people talk about discipline when it comes to the gym but discipline is also in saying no to people or things that lead me away from God, discipline is going to church or small group even when I’m too tired but doing it anyway. Discipline is daily habits that bring you closer to God and closer to who you are designed to be. What area of your life is God calling you to be more obedient and disciplined in? by @anna___fedele
