Peace 2018 2017 and 2016
That's the light at the end of this dark tunnel we been in.
So glad I moved to Tucson and joined this beautiful village of badass, incredible people. I love you guys 😁😘 Happy 2019
.. hope to be a better friend this year and get my ass to those @floorpolish and @thegetupfitness ! 😉

Hey Everyone. It is really confusing having 3 different instagrams.. personal, personal hair, and salon page. I am really not trying to he annoying here. I just still have been trying to respond to everyone and repeating myself kinda sucks. We have a lot of work to do and I have had so much help and am so fucking lucky to have it.
IF YOU ARE A CLIENT or a fan of Cafe Aqui or 5 Points market- a fire broke out Wed Dec 5th in the loft unit between the salon and the Cafe. We are grateful to be alive and grateful that Oliver and I were able to salvage most music equipment and precious rare books, records etc including the fabulous coffee roaster! Thank god! My salon was destroyed and very little is salvageable. (The neighbor in the middle lost everything and we are doing what we can to help him). Oliver was here for 9 years with the cafe and I have been here for 2 years first with belle starr and then as Faun salon. The loss is tremendous because we spent everything we made putting it back into our businesses and half the time giving our services for discounted rates or free to help the community. Now our community has saved us completely by supporting us with so much love and donations and GoFundMe's and benefits and this awesome Auction👉 @faunsalonauction 👈 that will be going on until Friday!
I know it is a lot to read these messages because you have your own lives, and it's the busiest season and you have already done so much and we never expected any of it! We are just so indebted to you all and you can count on us to help anytime you need it.

People still asking what they can do- you can go bid on amazing stuff at the auction- I wish I could bid! Or feel free to put the price of a cup of coffee or haircut into the GoFundMe. 🔥fire news and memories..Some recent favorites.
I will really miss this place. It had a spirit (or spirits) about it that is irreplaceable. Many people had shared this space before me (as with the entire building) and the Tucson community, shared in this space in some capacity or another. That's what is so great about Tucson. I cared for it deeply and strived to make it sacred to share. I guess some things are so out of our control but we still have our skills and I feel like this has shown not just me and Oliver, but the entire Tucson community that we are stronger than ever. And when someone needs our help we a there, I'm being mushy again but this was a real crazy fucked up thing, and we have each others backs! That shit matters! - if anyone of ya'lls businesses burned down (or some other insane tragic thing) we would do the same. Ya'll probably getting free haircuts for life 🧡 taken in FAUN SALON by @anna_josette
