Photos from the @stetsonusa SS25 campaign we shot earlier this year at the beautiful @babacomariranch with the most amazing group of people. Thank you @_benchristensen @chrischeney @_adamrodrigo_ @tylerellison @lenakoch @typicalix for an incredible shoot and a set filled with collaboration and kindness. Shout out to my girls @anna_josette & @amandakelley.hmua from @faunsalon not just for their glam skills but their time, care, and jams 🎶 and the out of this world catering from @micatering which was the delicious fuel that kept us going. These photos and memories are so special to me- I know my grandpa would be proud of this one 🤠 last slide of my poppy and I before a cattle drive way back when <3

Not that you asked but I wanted to share my hair routine because I have really been loving how healthy my hair has been feeling lately and I feel like I have a great routine down that I follow twice a week. I don’t wash my hair more than twice a week because it helps it retain its natural oils and I rarely have to do much else to it on the in between days (except our dry shampoo sometimes) because this routine pretty much locks in the style I’m looking for.

This routine is great for anyone with semi-wavy all the way through to very curly hair:

1. After I wash my hair I wrap it in a towel and let sit for a few mins - I do not take the towel and shake it throughout my hair cuz this will straighten it more.
2. I let it air dry for maybe 10-15mins til it is moist (not wet)
3. I then use a small amount of our Desert Roots Hair Oil to smooth any frizz or dry ends because it hydrates and also protects from heat. (I also use our hair oil as a mask twice a month)
4. I then use our Texturizing Hair Salt Spray (Rose or Lavender) and spray underneath and on top and kinda crunch ( for lack of a better word) my hair to accentuate the waves.
5. I then use a diffuser on the end of a blow dryer, on low blow & low heat to lock the curls in place without the blow dryer straightening out my hair.
6. Depending on humidity and how my hair is feeling I may or may not use a flat iron (as a curler) to give a little extra curl in any of the straighter areas.

So yeah! That’s the routine and I also have to give a big thank you to @anna_josette from @faunsalon for doing an amazing job cutting and dyeing my hair. I use to do both myself and it’s just so much easier to have a professional do it plus I looove the dye she uses- it is Davines and it has so much dimension to the color. Once my white hair spreads out throughout (instead of patches) then I will grow out the natural color.
💁‍♀️🙌

Feel privileged to have known Rosie and carried her products in the salon since I opened FAUN — 7 years ago! 🤯 She is true inspiration for being a small business owner and persevering through major shit and turning it all into magic, all while respecting the earth and others ✨

Forever thankful for my amazing hairdresser, and friend @snake.hart @anna_josette ❤️ My hair is a pain in the ass 😂 naturally curly/crazy! She managed to make me blonde without frying my hair, and always achieves the style I want. You can find her at @faunsalon along with some other amazing stylist. 😘
