Again The Eagle Saloon is in my feed💫 But...

A did my long walk today downtown. Multi tasking- with a Du Bois audio book in my ears as the sun cooled down.

Seemed fitting to walk down the streets I am going to potentially spend six years researching on this new PhD journey.

The weeds were bad before summer..... I'm not a preservation expert. But maybe NAI Rampart/chris@rampartcre buy some weedkiller???? Plzzzzzzzzz 😿

Seeing as your're selling its historic relevance

Peak British tea shop experience:

Crumpets, Marmite, curls of butter and a pot of Earl Grey.

30°C. No problem.

A perfect day visiting Charleston House... again. This time with mum.

The East Sussex home of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant and the unifying creative base for many of their Bloomsbury group circle for the first part of the 20th C.

A stunning property covered in textiles designs and paintings by Vanessa herself.

Tea and a sit by the pond. A walk down country lanes and a local beer before catching the train back to London. taken in Charleston House and Garden, Sussex by @annadelchev

The old L. E. Rabouin School aka International High School of New Orleans. Carondolet St, New Orleans.
Built 1937.

My camera roll is postly old buildings, the odd gnarly tree root and art work.....

In a bid to get more of the ladies I research on my walls to inspire me and guide me through- I started cyanotype experimentation.

Here are two of my early attempts.
1. Florence Mills. Glittering star of musical vaudeville show the "Blackbird Revue"
2. Babydoll by Frank B Moore.

Posting here to see if I can stick with it and get better.
I have become much worse at focusing on skill development as I get older and much better at day dreaming or getting distracted by every different crack in the pavement and kink in the metalwork as I walk down the street.
Isn't it supposed to be the other way?

It was my birthday recently. Rubbish as I am with announcing all of that but thank you so much for all the lovely messages.
Here is my having a big old treat at Maccy D's...let me tell you in London town back a while ago, in a family that had home cooked meals every day (blessed!), this was a BIG deal.
Here I am with the select bunch of buds.... and then proof i still have a hard time posing normally.

Much love to the @gr33n_kat who navigated my waining social skills and gently nudged my born day acknowledgment.

Hurrah. I am lucky xxx by @annadelchev
