Group healing isn’t a new phenomenon

For centuries, across so many cultures, people have gathered in circles to heal — communal drumming and dance, sweat lodges and talking circles, shared rituals and dream temples. Long before “wellness” became a word, we already knew: coming together was often the medicine itself.

There’s something that happens in a circle that you just can’t access alone. Grief moves differently when it’s witnessed. Breath shifts the whole room. Joy multiplies when it’s held by more than one heart.

That’s what I keep coming back to — healing was never meant to be solitary. We were built for this. For gathering. For ceremony. For each other. 🤍

Cheers to a full and beautiful July! 🌾☀️

Lots of road tripping, a camping trip to June Lake with our desert community 🏕️
Kids everywhere, kundalini yoga by the mountains 🧘‍♀️, lake days, celebrations big and small 🥂, mormor visiting all the way from Denmark and tagging along for it all 🇩🇰💛, endless music 🎶, and so much connection and expansion.

We celebrate the baby with showers and gifts. I love celebrating the mother — with depth, with ritual, with a nourishment that reaches beyond anything you can wrap in a box.
Before the baby arrives, there is a mother — carrying, becoming, transforming.
A Mother Blessing Ceremony is nourishment for body, mind, and soul. Every ceremony I host is tailored — to the mother, and to the community she wants gathered around her to hold and celebrate her. She’s set up for a successful postpartum, her fourth trimester, before she even begins it.
Every human being came through a mother. She deserves to be honored, and showered with love.
This mama was deeply uncomfortable in her body through all of her third trimester — the only place she felt at ease was water. So I hosted her ceremony at @wondervalleyhotsprings, where she could soak in pristine natural spring water, held by her loved ones around her.

Summer vibes 💛💛
Every trip I have taken for as long as I can remember has been a weaving of ceremony, adventure, work, and play.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t combine all of your deepest desires and bring your children along. Is it easy? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely. As I’m slowly returning to myself, emerging from the bubble of small babies into this new chapter. Maybe you’ve been there too—emerging into something new but still searching for who that person might be.

Learning to navigate work and being of service again in bigger ways, saying yes to grander projects as I’m making myself available again as a healer and ceremonialist, while taking care of my children and nourishing their worlds is probably the most important work I will ever do in this lifetime.

It’s vulnerable for me to say this as a progressive Nordic woman and entrepreneur. Because in our society, when we ask each other what are you doing, we’re really asking how does your time translate to money? But motherhood has taught me that doing is about so much more than that.

We gather in the forest to mark the Winter Solstice — the longest and darkest night of the year, a sacred threshold in the cycle of nature.
Together, we will honor the darkness, release what has passed, and open space for what is ready to arrive. We will share ceremonial cacao, move gently, meditate, and sit by the fire, offering intentions and reflections to the flames.

How grateful I am!
For my beautiful desert mamas that I share both sisterhood and motherhood with..

For all the families out here that I get to call family..

For all the many children out here that I legitimately LOVE from the bottom of my heart..

For the raw and realness that the desert invites me to open up to..

For everything the desert is teaching me every day..
