Took a big leap and officially decided to become a Lander Bearcat 🐾💙 I’m so excited to spend the next four years at Lander University, pursing my nursing degree while running cross country and track & field. So grateful for this opportunity and I’m so ready for everything ahead! @landeruniversity #classof2031 by @annam008

With a joyful heart I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Lander University!

I want to thank God for the opportunities and abilities he has given me to go to the next level in my career. To my Mom, You have been there through it all, you pushed me to run faster, get new prs and to chase my dreams of running in college and I want to thank you so much for that. To my Grandparents and brother, you made so many sacrifices and gave me so much encouragement to do better and make good decisions in life. To my teammates, I want to thank y’all for being there for me and encouraging me even when I did good or bad. I am truly grateful and don’t know what I could’ve done without your support!

To Coach Pippen, Coach Lininger, Coach Bill, and Coach Brannen you gave up your time to help me through everything , you helped me become a better athlete and a better person in general. I don’t know what I would do or where I would be if y’all were not my coaches! Coach Lamb, I’m truly thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to be a bearcat, thank you for everything you’ve done so far to make me feel included with the team!
