I debated making another post because I didn’t want to seem like a “complainer” but then I realized that the pain and feelings of cancer patients deserve to be heard and expressed because the reality is no one really knows what we go through. I feel a small weight lifted when I share my feelings and that’s enough, but it’s a bonus if it allows someone to learn or feel understood. by @annapietruszynski

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who is the pure definition of what it means to be a mom.

Mom, you have given everything to support me through every success, failure, and anything in between my entire life. It is thanks to you that I am the strong and capable woman I am today. Thank you for holding my hand through every walk of life but this one more than ever. You have sacrificed everything about your normal life to take care of me and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I could not get through the challenges and fear cancer brings without you being by my side, letting me break down to you, and having someone to experience the horrible days with me so I’m not alone. The strength you have to show up for me when I know how hard it is to watch a second child go through this means everything to me. Thank you for making me laugh in the darkest moments and places. You are the strongest, kindest, and most beautiful woman I know inside and out. I feel so blessed to have been given you as my mother and friend. I love you infinitely. by @annapietruszynski
