Senior Sunday | Chloe #7 🏐❤️ Friday, we celebrated our seniors on the Lady Rabbits volleyball team, and today is dedicated to Chloe and the sport I never imagined I would love so much! 😭 I wasn’t an athletic girly girl and never played sports, but watching Chloe grow through this game has been such a blessing. There have been hard work, perseverance, struggles, tears, and so much growth. I’m proud of the player she’s become and the person she’s growing into. To every coach who has believed in her, challenged her, and poured into her along the way, THANK YOU! Tiffany Lockett-Falls, Nickie Fontenot, Melissa Waddell, Chrissie Allen, and Gregg Risner, forever grateful for each of you! ❤️ Some of the sweetest parts of this journey have been the friendships Chloe has made and nurtured along the way. The girls and their moms have become so special to me. To my ATL volleyball moms, you know who you are! I’m thankful for the memories, the friendships, and the community we’ve built. I would trust Chloe with any of these amazing families. ❤️ Friday, I bought two helium balloons for Chloe’s senior night table, and BOTH flew away. 🥹 I decided Brittany Riley must have needed those balloons. I miss you so much, B. I wish you could have been there to see it all. I know you would be so proud of Jaliyah and her love for this sport. Volleyball is how we met back in middle school, spending Sundays at the gym serving, setting balls, and getting in reps. ❤️ Charity Jones, so thankful we got to meet and cheer for our girls this season! And Missy Birmingham, I love you and am so thankful sports and cheer brought us together through our girls. These friendships are such a gift! Thankfully, our volleyball journey isn’t over! As we head into playoffs, I plan to soak up every last second of watching these girls play. 🏐 Chloe, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. #7 forever. ❤️ by @annapuckett
August and September went by so quickly, I can’t even wrap my head around it. 🥹 They were FULL. Full of good things, hard things, growing, stretching, answered prayers, unanswered prayers, and more moments than I can count. I’m trying to soak up the days ahead instead of constantly thinking about what’s next. A few things God has shown me that I’m taking with me: • Choose connection over distraction. • Prayer in your home is your family’s first weapon of defense. • Some of the holiest things you will ever do won’t be applauded, liked, shared, or even seen. • In parenting, sometimes stepping back is how independence begins. • Our kids deserve to be kids, even when it’s inconvenient to some. • We have to be faithful stewards of less before we can be trusted with more. • God uses ordinary people to do powerful, supernatural things through their obedience. • Mundane things, like washing dishes, can become some of the sweetest times for prayer. • Joy is not circumstantial. Joy is a deep, steady gift from God. • What is sown in tears will be reaped with joy. Some seasons require you to keep planting even when you can’t see what will come from it. • His ways are higher than mine. Even when I don’t understand the timing, the plan, or the why, I can trust the One who sees what I can’t. I don’t want to rush through this season trying to get to the next one. I am going to soak up the conversations, the laughter, the valley moments and the mountain ones, the stretching, and all the little moments in between. 🤍 by @annapuckett
Chloe, your dad and I are so incredibly proud of the woman you have become. You are gracious, kind, silly, fun, beautiful inside and out, and most importantly, you love Jesus. My prayer for you in this next chapter is simple: guard your heart. Stay close to Jesus. Surround yourself with people who sharpen you and point you back to Him. Keep your heart pure. Dream big. Work hard. And when you don’t know what to do, seek Him first. I hope you always remember that God’s plan for your life is bigger and better than anything you can ever imagine. 🤍 Happy 18th birthday, Chloe. You will always be our baby girl, and I will forever thank God that He chose me to be your mom. We love you more than you know. 🤍 by @annapuckett
happy golden birthday to our golden girl, Lula. ✨ We are so thankful for you and sure are proud to be your parents! You are every bit girly, but you can hold your own. 💪🏽 You are funny, kind, athletic and the best little sister. You love the ball fields, dresses, baby dolls and your stuffies. You are just the sweetest little girl, and we sure love you so much, Lula Joy! ☀️ #six by @annapuckett
July reminded me once again that life is precious. It’s a gift from God, and our time here is so valuable. Ecclesiastes 3 is a constant reminder that everything has a season. While so much in this world changes, God never does. His timing is perfect, even when I don’t understand it. My job is to trust God, enjoy the gifts he’s given, and worship Him through every season. A few things I’m taking with me: • Jesus can transform even the hardest heart in His time. • Be the Church outside the four walls. (John 4:21) • Sometimes we overcomplicate the Gospel. • Hug your teens tight. 🥹 • Give grace freely… 70×7. Here’s to a busy August. 🤍✨ by @annapuckett
We are so blessed to have such a wonderful father in our home. The one who leads with prayer and discernment in everything. You aren’t just shepherding (fathering) our family; for more than a decade, you’ve been helping shape and guide generations of young men through coaching. The world is better because of men like you.. You are faithful and reflect the heart of our Heavenly Father. You serve your athletes and students well, and then you come home and serve us even more. Fatherhood; in our home, and spiritually fathering outside our home is holy work. “Every moment of guidance, sacrifice, and love echoes into eternity. ” 🤍🤍 Thank you for the path you’re leading our family down. Happy Father’s Day to the dad who prays over our household and is helping mold generations to come through his wisdom, leadership, and love. We love you to the moon, Coach Puckett. 🌙 by @annapuckett
Our sweet Zeke turns 11 today. Ezekiel genuinely loves hard. He’s passionate and kind. He loves Jesus, all things baseball (football and basketball) music, school, following dad to all the rabbit games and fishing. He’s very smart and athletic but his integrity and godly character is the sweetest. He got his daddy’s intelligence (slide 7️⃣ 😳)and looks and his mamas dance moves. 😉 God has such amazing plans for our sweet Ezekiel. We are so proud of you Bear and we are so thankful God blessed us to be your parents. 🤍 We sure love you! by @annapuckett
Lately I’ve been gleaning from the books of Proverbs, Psalms and Romans. Closing out May with a few truths the Lord has been teaching me lately as a mom… 🤍 • Parenting is one of the most precious gifts and hardest callings. The fruit is worth it, but faithfulness and consistency matter. • Moms help shape the atmosphere of the home. More than anything, I want to cultivate a place where the Holy Spirit is welcome and my children develop a genuine relationship with Jesus. • We cannot shield our children from every struggle. Wisdom and boundaries matter, but discipleship is about teaching discernment, not parenting from fear. I want them to think biblically and trust God when they face decisions on their own. • Following Jesus is beautiful, but it is not easy. Obedience, trust, and perseverance often come through battles, disappointment, and seasons of refining. • The older I get, the more I value relationship over performance. I’d rather my children wrestle honestly with their faith than simply appear to have it all together. • I want my children to see real faith lived out imperfectly in prayer, worship, and everyday moments that continually point back to Jesus. There is always a window to share the gospel. • Jesus told us to become like little children. Their joy, wonder, and faith remind me not to miss God’s goodness right in front of me. • I don’t need all the answers or perfectly performing kids. I just need to keep pointing them to Christ, trusting that God loves them even more than I do. I’m reminded that God simply asks us to be willing, not perfect. Willing to be corrected, molded, refined, and led. Here’s to a summer filled with purpose, joy, and a deeper walk with Him. ☀️ by @annapuckett

There’s no other name worthy of praise, than you, Yahweh. 🤍 by @annapuckett
Forever thankful for Jesus; his death, burial and resurrection. The same power lives in us! ✨ “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,” ‭‭I Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ by @annapuckett
There are some posts that are harder to write than others, and this is one of them. When Kathy and I first opened the doors to Frayed, it was never meant to become what it eventually did. In the beginning, it was simply an outlet—something to get us out of the house, something creative for us to enjoy together. It was a space graciously made possible and from the very start it felt like a gift from Bill Eason. 🤍 We’ve always loved creating things, and even the name Frayed held meaning to us. We believed then, and we still believe now, that God makes all things beautiful out of ashes. In those early days, our kids were homeschooling. They did their schoolwork in the back room, watched a show when they finished, and ran outside to jump on the trampoline. On beautiful days we’d open the doors, set tables on the porch, and the kids would sit outside eating their snacks while we worked. It was simple and sweet, and those are some of the memories we’ll always treasure most. Over time, like many small businesses do, the shop grew into more than we originally planned. With growth came responsibilities, late nights, and deadlines. While finishing a big order can feel rewarding, missing our kids’ activities was never part of the dream. Bill was our steady. He was the one we called when a light went out, when something needed fixing, or when the gas man needed to come. He helped carry the weight of this place in ways many people never saw. Without him, and with everyone’s schedules growing fuller, maintaining a storefront has simply become harder than we ever imagined. So after a lot of prayer and reflection, we’ve made the decision to close our brick-and-mortar storefront. We’re not exactly sure what the future holds, but we do know we are stepping into a new season. Our kids will both be seniors next year, and we don’t want to miss these moments. Frayed has been so much more than a store. It was a place of healing during a season of grief. A place where we hosted workshops, welcomed families, held fundraisers, created alongside our own kids, and built friendships within this community. For all of that, we are deeply grateful.
