Thank you to @adamkerbel & @performa.dance & @almanac_us for the recent chance to explore some human moves.

Returning to performing and improvisational composing as a way to strengthen my creative skills was a big 2026 goal for me,
and it is delightful to do some very human verbs in community & communion with other talented folks.

How are other embodied artists using this platform or other digital tools to amplify all the pushing stretching sweating breathing breaking dancing playing you are doing?

Does the relationship between screen and skin feel full of potential or pitfalls or bothand?

Casting Carnival Barkers for Carnival of Feelings!

WHAT: Carnival of Feelings, an interactive play experience that encourages folks to explore their emotions through simple games, whimsey, and self-reflection.

WHEN: Performance on Friday May 8th, 11am to 5pm
Rehearsals: 2 rehearsals in late April / Early May - one over Zoom, one possibly in person

WHERE: Congresso Enrichment Program, 2800 American Street, Philadephia, PA 19133, US

Calling all Improv folks, Trivia Night MCs, Drag performers, D+D
Dungeon Masters. We’re casting skilled improvisers to run our Carnival Booths.
We’re seeking folks of all ages, ethnicities, genders, abilities. BIPOC folks specifically, as well as anyone with Spanish language skills.

You will manage the game play, making sure people adhere to the rules
and stay safe. You will foster the vibes.

Do you feel comfortable:
- Interacting with the public?
- Adjusting a script on the fly as needed?
- Engaging with strangers in a welcoming and charismatic way?
