Happy 1-year anniversary to “It’s Giving Single”! A year ago, I wrote, directed, and produced my award-winning one woman show at Fringe Fest for the first time ever! A major feat accomplished in 3 months with the help of an amazing crew @jennifertheartisan @rainbright8 @christopher.esperance @herekdayes @akseeyoulater @annebrashiercreative @quentinthepoet !!! Grateful for the amazing big support for my amazing friends, family, former colleagues, and creative community! Planning for 2027 comeback of “It’s Giving Single”! Check out website— itsgivingsingle.com for more details! For now, honoring a major creative accomplishment! And using it as fuel to keep me motivated and inspired to create! #thecreativeflex #phillyfringe #blacktheatre #blackwomenwriters

SCRAP NIGHT: FRINGE EDITION 2nd Hand Circus is back, and this time we’re getting fringey! Two nights of scrappy circus, thrift-store treasures, questionable materials, and brand-new circus made from stuff that probably had other plans. September 26 at 7:30pm + 27 at 7pm (two nights, two different shows)
Thunderbird Hall (not Salvage)
2856 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia
**Part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival** @fringearts As always, we’re making circus out of the cast-offs: thrifted, salvaged, recycled, repurposed, and generally rescued from the trash pile. And because it’s Fringe… wear fringe.
Fringe on your jacket. Fringe on your pants. Fringe on your body. Fringe you found at the bottom of a thrift bin. We’re not picky. Come dressed like you crawled out of a thrift store and into a circus. Join us for hot pupusas from @masa_discos, community-building carnival games from @annebrashiercreative, and the @2ndhandcircus Scrappy Thrift shop! Scrappy. Sustainable.
