I was so inspired by the Gerhard Richter landscape show at David Zwirner that I decided to try to make my own version. I've been teaching myself, playing with various media and subject matter, throughout the past year. The exploration is pure delight. by @annekreamer

Many of my friends and family are posting this and I am happily following suit: I’m asking those who love the outdoors to post a picture. A picture that YOU took. Just a pic. No description. The goal is to regain peace and harmony without negativity. Ultimately changing the algorithms. Please copy the text, put a picture on YOUR page, and let’s look at these beautiful pictures. by @annekreamer

My mother, Marion, circa 1932. I love her precious outfit and ballet shoes. Now that I am older than she was at her death, I long fir all of the conversations we never got to have. Ask the questions, share the stories, join the threads. All of our ancestors live on through us. by @annekreamer

My sister @jane.k.meyer and me in our Easter finery -- white gloves, new hats, polished Mary Janes. One of my absolute favorite photos ever. by @annekreamer

It seemed like a good moment to visit the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park, designed by Louis Kahn. Forgive my poorly cropped photograph but freedom of speech and expression, freedom to worship in his own way, freedom from want and in today's climate freedom from fear are values worth treasuring and fighting for. by @annekreamer

I've spent the last few months during my social media hiatus (which I HIGHLY recommend to everyone) working on some projects that I will share next year, but in the meantime, I'd like to share a bit of the magic that the dense pine-scented mist along the road offered me this morning. by @annekreamer

Tilda and I are going to take a social media break and spend that time playing outdoors. Over the past few months the intense saturation of advertising has completely eclipsed friends’ work and posts. I used to delight in seeing what friends were up to, but now it’s all ads all the time. I will miss darling animal videos but I know engaging with real live animals will feel better. I will return at some point, and until then may the light shine upon you. by @annekreamer

What a week of magic. After witnessing my first aurora we were fortunate tonight to catch the comet hurtling by. We shared the experience among wonderful strangers on a perfect evening. May peace ring out. by @annekreamer
