WHY SHOE ROTATION 👟✨

I’ve tested a lot of running shoes… and honestly, I’ve made plenty of bad choices along the way 😅

My selection process is usually:
1️⃣ Reviews
2️⃣ Price
3️⃣ Intended use
4️⃣ Color 😋
5️⃣ Comfort
In that exact order… most of the time😌

Do you need super shoes or racing shoes ? Nope☺️
Did I buy them because they came in pink? Absolutely 💖

At this point, if I don’t run a PB on race day, at least I can’t blame the shoes anymore🤩

👟 Why I rotate my running shoes:

* Less repetitive stress on my body
* The right shoe for each type of run
* My shoes last longer

The science says shoe rotation is good. I’m just doing my part to support the science. 🫡👟

My first-ever marathon was brutal 🥵. I hit the wall hard and then spent over 3 years away from exercise🫠

Fast forward to CBH: a faster marathon pace, no walking breaks, and most of the race in Zone 2 ( still a struggle at the end, don’t get me wrong😅)

The first time, I ran slower but spent over 80% of the race in Zones 4 & 5 🫠. The difference isn’t talent—it’s consistency.

Keep showing up. The results will come. 🔑✨

✨The mental struggle ✨

I wanted to quit after the first 10K🥵⛰️

The hills, the heat, my sky-high heart rate… it just wasn’t my day😏

My mind kept telling me to stop, but I refused to listen. Instead of thinking about how far I had left, I focused on just getting through the next 5K. One step at a time.

Not every run feels good. Some are just about refusing to give up❤️
