After 6 incredible years, It's time to sunset Annexe. The close of a chapter…but with something new on the horizon. We will be open this week and thru the weekend, then it's time for us to make a change, and show you what's next!
We opened our doors just 1 week before Covid shut the world down. From a business standpoint, this was one of the most difficult, challenging and scary times for us and so many other businesses. We decided to sell Sangria curbside. The community showed up in droves and kept us busier than we could imagine. We felt the love and it kept our doors open. So.. thanks for that Durm! Once folks felt safe to come back out, and we opened to full capacity, the fun times and memories began to pour in. More than half a decade's worth of music, laughter, fun, relationships... All so very meaningful, and never taken for granted.
Things we are proud of:
We converted a tiny little basement office space into one of Durham's most vibrant nightlife scenes. Incorporating Fun, Femme and Funky vibes into this space was a difficult, yet fun project, and we are so thrilled at the reception over the years.
With regard to local DJ's, Musicians , Artists and charities, we contributed more than $300,000. We generated valuable tax money for our community. We've hosted countless special moments for the folks in this town - graduations, milestone birthdays, wedding receptions, etc. .
Our next idea for this little space is nothing short of exciting for us. We are putting a lot of intentional thought, focus and work into this idea and are excited about the potential. More details on that soon…
To all of our employees, past and present, a sincere thank you. Thanks for your contributions and your energy, You know who you are.
We are excited for what’s next in this little basement bar. We hope, eventually, it might be regarded as one of those humble places that help make Bull City a better place to live and play.

A huge thank you to @ek__balam_ and @vibrasandco_ for bringing this event to life and giving us one final night to celebrate together. ❤️
