Maybe a bit early with it still being August but I’m seeing a lot of brands starting to drop their AW26 stuff and it’s got me in the mood for some LAYERS. Here’s some stuff I did from last AW. Deliberateindifference is no more - fully embracing the Another Outfit tag now! Kicking off the next chapter with a double header - two fits built around the Blundstone x Finisterre Chelsea boots. One a little more “I’m off for a coffee/beer” and the other a bit more outdoorsy, but there is a lot of room for overlap across them. Some from about four years ago - back in the day, before I started drawing the characters into my outfit posts and they became “Another Outfit”, I drew each item by hand rather than dropping in photos. A lot can change in four years (there’s a brand on the first slide I won’t buy from anymore because of comments made by their founder on social media), but there are a lot of things here I still absolutely love. I’m wearing those very New Balance today! Looking back, I think this style made for a much more visually striking post than just the illustration of a character and the flatlay photos of the clothes I do now. However, it probably goes without saying that there is a tonne of work in drawing every item of clothing like this. Especially footwear, which always is and always will be a pain in the ass to draw, whether like this or on the characters I do now. Just a bit of a ramble about time or something really. Posted one of this fit in a story post warning you all I’d be making a reappearance on here. Hadn’t planned on ever posting this fit but got so many DMs from the story asking for IDs on what I’m wearing I thought it made sense to share. Flannel is a @3sixteen crosscut flannel in sand ombré plaid, and the shoes are @grensonshoes sneaker 70 - both from @orzel.store in Glasgow - one of my favourite shops run by one of the nicest people in @grantagnew Jeans are @blackhorselane NW1 selvedge. I’m not a huge denim head but these are great. Thanks so much for the response to the story about how I am going to be on here more again last night. Just a reminder there is a real person researching, drawing, colouring and posting these illustrated another outfit posts. It’s greatly appreciated and seems I’m not the only one who values hard work and the creative process x by @another_outfit

Further explorations in basic animation. This will probably be the basis of a final thing I’m working on but just wanting to share the process and learning curve here. I’ve got a vision (actually loads) in my head and hopefully I’ll reach a stage I can bring them to life. No shortcuts, nothing done artificially, just someone who loves drawing trying to learn to animate and having fun doing it. ✌🏻 by @another_outfit
