here’s to 23, and finally being enough for me 🥂💓

before i became my biggest fan, i was also my own biggest critic, and i wrote this song last year about the inner critic that lives inside my head and finally having enough of listening to that voice. this past year has felt like such a huge journey in learning that i don’t need to be anyone other than who i am, and it feels right to celebrate my birthday by sharing this beautiful project.

thank you immensely to @ameliejat and @_joelise , it was a huge goal of mine when moving to london to be able to create music and work with amazing women in the music industry, and i am so beyond happy to have brought this project to life with you both.

if i am enough as i am, then so are you <3

Happy Wednesday! I’m back to highlight two incredible behind the scenes stars of Ghost in The House!

None of the BTS photos that so beautifully captured the day of shooting process would be here without the incredible eye of @alan.j.hewitt there’s a particular attention to detail that so brilliantly comes through in every photo he captured. What a gift you are!

The climax of the Ghost in The House music video was built around this dance sequence choreographed by @anoushkahem it was the coolest thing ever to see how thoughtful her choices were and how this dance moved the plot along while also reflecting the duality of playfulness of imagination and the haunting weight of reality in each movement! You are a star Anoushka!

and with that... 🎓

today, i had my last class and last final of my undergraduate degree at ucla. in one week, i get to walk across the stage with some of the most phenomenal people i have the pleasure of knowing. in two weeks, i hop on a plane and close a chapter of my life that will forever be a favourite.

at seventeen, i moved across the world to a city i had only seen in movies, and i can safely say that it is hands down the best decision i have made in my entire life. four years later, i am proud to graduate from the #1 public school in the united states with a bachelor of arts in theater and not one, but two minors in digital humanities and history.

shoutout to @ucla_theater for providing me with the ability to embrace my creativity in so many ways, the opportunities have been endless and the faculty have become mentors who have changed me for the better. a special mention of course goes to the airport lounge (rip) for essentially being my second home and for introducing me to so many people i consider family. i am so lucky to have something so special that makes saying goodbye so hard.

to my people, you all know exactly who you are. thank you for making all the late nights worth it, laughing with me and making memories with me that i will cherish forever. every single person who i have gotten to cross paths with over this journey has made me who i am, so thank you, i love you all immensely.

to the little girl from the other side of the world who didn't know if her dreams would ever come true, this one's for you.

forever proud to be a bruin, thank you @ucla 💌 taken in UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television by @anoushkahem

in january 2024, i started working on together song with the incredible @natsuotomita and @morgan.rose.dance . a year and a half of meetings and rehearsals has culminated into this beautiful piece. every piece of the puzzle has fit together in such an immaculate way and although it has been far from easy, i am so proud of what we have created. together song is the show at ucla that has taught me the most, and while it is a beast of a show to stage manage, i couldn't ask for a better way to end my stage management career at ucla. there are too many people to thank, so if you were involved in any way in creating this piece, know that i am grateful. 🫶🏽
