From the girl who stood by my side and held my hand in 2025, to the queen I screamed and cheered for, crowned in 2026, and everything in between! I will always remember your kind words to me, especially on orientation and interview days! From being one of my first sister queens, one of my empirettes, turned best friend, Aunty Maria, the blonde to my brunette, and the woman who made me a bridesmaid, we have shared a lot of trips around the sun together ☀️

A lot of laughs, a lot of tears, a lot of crazy, a lot of wine, and a lot of memories shared together! So apparently this is known as my 'Award-Winning Jumpsuit' now, and I'm not mad at it 😂

Unbelievably shocked, humbled, privileged, thankful, and proud to win the @justachatni Special Recognition Award this weekend! 🏆

Thank you Conor, Jack, and Billy for recognising the hard work, early mornings, and late nights that have gone into supporting Just A Chat this year! But Amy, you ruined my makeup! Tiny tears came out again; listening to your kind words will stay with me forever. It was hard to believe you were talking about me, as sometimes you forget the daily struggle because it becomes the norm. Thank you for your recognition of all my hard work, success, awards and titles with @internationalunitedmiss @iumunitedkingdom the past year as Ms. Northern Ireland, your support made all the difference! Crown or no crown, awards or no awards, I am continuing to help, support, promote, and truly be HEROIC 🩵

I don't volunteer for the awards (although the recognition is always amazing to receive); I do it to help people, to push myself, to raise awareness of causes close to my heart, and to support those in a way I would like to be supported! 🩷💚🖤

A massive thank you to @theboulevardbanbridge for inviting me today to officially open and welcome @weirdfishltd to Northern Ireland's leading retail outlet village 🛍

A wonderful day all round; the fish and chips were to die for, the entertainment was fantastic and shoppers enjoyed the very generous goody bags and treasure chest treats! Life isn't always glamorous, far from it (hence the PJs)
Last Wednesday, within 30 minutes of arriving home, I had my first sudden asthma attack in 5 years, and I will admit, I was scared! There have only been about a dozen times throughout my life I've said, "I need to go to the hospital now!" and for a girl who is in the hospital a lot, that is saying something!

I wanted to highlight this as many people may not realise how serious asthma is, either because it's so common, well-managed, or being misinformed. But here is the long and short of it: if you can't breathe, you die - simple as that.

My asthma has always been well-controlled my whole life, with only a handful of A&E visits and 2 admissions over the pandemic, but this hit like a ton of bricks! We still have no idea what set it off (I'm convinced it's all Bs fault and my body just shut down and I physically couldn't breathe without him lol), but one random cough turned into a struggle, inhalers weren't helping, and very quickly I felt my capacity go down and rushed to A&E. Thankfully, the great team at Craigavon saved my life once again; I was triaged, tested, treated, X-rayed, and sent home within a few hours (although I have felt like I was hit by a truck the past few days).

The NHS isn't perfect, but I'm glad it's here 💙
