POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s Period Action Day today! (The acronym being PAD is chefs kiss)

I’ve spent some of my time today making reusable pads to be able to donate! My ambassadors work all year round at their pace to donate, whether they make their own pads or packs, donate to others and use their platforms to educate about period poverty.

Period poverty is a WORLD WIDE issue, with the stigma and misconceptions about periods in different cultures and lack of education. Project P is here to help reduce that ✨💖

✨Sparkle Summer Camp Dump✨

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss my glowing pageant sisters and Sparkle Summer Camp. 🥹 How lucky are we to have something and people we can miss this much?

I know from the outside, pageantry can look like beautiful gowns, sparkly crowns and parading across a stage.

But for so many of us, the real magic happens in the people we meet along the way.

Many of the women in these photos I talk to weekly. Some, almost daily. We live in different cities, different states, and even different parts of the world—and without pageantry, our paths may have never crossed.

There is something so special about finding a group of women who understand your dreams because they’re chasing their own. Women who push you to grow, celebrate your wins, pick you up after the hard moments, and remind you who you are when you need it most.

We may compete alongside one another, but we cheer for each other even louder. 🥹✨

The crowns eventually go back in their boxes. The gowns get hung back in the closet. But the friendships? Those are the things we get to keep.

Missing my girls a little extra today. 🩵✨

Okay but real talk… the girls you meet in pageants might just be the best thing you ever gain from doing them. 🥹🩵

You walk in thinking about the crown, the competition, the dresses and the stage… and somehow you walk away with best friends all over the world.

Women of different ages, from different places, living completely different lives … who become the people cheering the loudest for you.

The ones who hype you up before interview. Fix your hair backstage. Hold your hand when you’re nervous. Celebrate your wins like they’re their own. Sit with you through the losses. Check on you months later. Fly across the country to support you. Become the people you call when life has absolutely nothing to do with pageants.

That’s the part people don’t always see.

The crown is incredible. The stage is fun. But the sisterhood? That’s the part you get to keep. 👑🩵

Maslow talked about what is now known as Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs: the most basic needs humans need people have for existence, and I’ve been doing some reflection on how that applies to me. So come with me in this short reel and let’s take a look at 3 basic human needs.

P. S. As always, it would only let me tag a few people. I’m sorry for everyone it wouldn’t let me tag. 🫣

A little skin investment ✨
Such a lovely evening @younique.aesthetics.belfast for their VIP Gold Card Member event. The perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, while also getting a proper insight into what the clinic has to offer.
The Q&A was really informative, as were the demonstrations, and I loved having my own skin analysis done, it’s always so valuable to see what your skin is actually telling you!

Investing in your skin is something I think is so important, especially as we get older. So it was great to hear more about the different treatment packages available at Younique and what could potentially work for me.

And of course, a bespoke signature cocktail and canapés from Jordan @__tenshi_dining always makes for a very good addition to the evening!🥂

A great evening of good company, interesting conversations and a little more insight into looking after your skin, a massive thanks to the team for the kind invitation and warm welcome!✨

When one of your pageant besties shows up on the picture of the new reigning @iumunitedkingdom Queens, you may or may not go to great lengths to try to figure out whether she’s coming back next year. But of course I’m not extra enough that I’d go so far as to do a screen recording and then try to zoom in and see what the year is on her banner. Oh no. Nothing THAT extra. Wouldn’t dream of it. Tea and crumpets, anyone, before we go engage in the time honored tradition of civil disobedience as activism for change in opposition to fascism? #internationalunitedmiss #sistersbysash #beethechange #thesisterhoodisteal
