This house was the most stressful year of our lives.
No exaggeration.

Looking back now, we made so many mistakes, rushed decisions, things we’d do differently. You bet every lesson is coming with us into the next project.

We love this home deeply. It means everything to us.
But if we’re being really honest… it also holds a lot of trauma just to get it here. And that’s something people don’t talk about enough when it comes to renovation.

Seeing the before and after still feels surreal. We’re proud of what we built, grateful we survived it, and more ready than ever for the next chapter.

Thank you for being here through all of it.
The next one starts very soon 🤍

Day 4 of making our house 1% better every day 🏡✨

Today we’re tackling the loft closet… because our estate agent casually told us that during a viewing she couldn’t open it, so the buyer simply didn’t get to see it 😭

Safe to say, that’s getting fixed TODAY.

One tiny job at a time until this house is completely ready for its next owner.

We spent the past 14 days getting our house ready to sell… and accidentally made ourselves fall in love with it all over again. 🥲

All those little jobs and imperfections we’d been staring at for years are finally finished, and now every corner feels exactly how we always wanted it to.

Last night I was just sat eating dinner, looking around the room thinking… why didn’t we do all of this sooner?

We officially list the house for sale today, and I know this is the right next chapter for us - but letting it go feels a lot harder than I expected.
