Twilight Zone?
I am walking alongside the historic beach huts at Mudeford. And notice an extremely dour faced couple. Juxtaposed against the idyllic location.

The first two shots are out of sequence. I grab the dour expressions. Then immediately press the shutter again.
When I downloaded the images. I was shocked seeing them in animated laughter on the second image.

How did he read the funniest thing ever written. Convey it to his partner.
And they both bust out into hysterical laughter.
In a split second?

"You unlock this door with the key of imagination
Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind
You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas
You've just crossed over into
The Twilight Zone" by @anthony.bez

Leonardo my best friend
.
Mancunian Leo, the lion king of the urban jungle.
He is a Rockstar, live life fast and was so very young.

You know the world is fast decending to fire and brimstone.
Now my anchor and hope is gone. I am set adrift in a sea of despair.
I scream and wail into the darkness. There is no longer light at the end of the tunnel.

I now only dream of you Leonardo.
I will always love you. My very, very, best friend.

.Clet Abraham
I had thought Instagram was a place to chuck recent photographs on.
But talking to a hip photographer. He said 'Tik Tok, is where it is happening bro". I replied "err". Sensing my uninterest he said "Okay if your staying on Instagram you have to do reels bro". He got another "err" in response. In desperation he said "Alright just try carousels then bro"
So here we are.....
I have just been to wonderful Florence. And while getting frustrated looking for authentic Florentino's and Florentina's to capture. I kept my eye out for Clet Abraham's street art. Most had been covered with tags and "YANKEE GO HOME" stickers. But I found a couple still intact.
With memories of these in my head. I was heading for my evening dinner reservation. And low and behold close to the restaurant, Clet Abraham was leaning on a pole aving a fag. Who'd a thunk it?

Empty Seat?
I am not sure anybody reads text added to photographs here anymore?
But I wanted to talk about this one.
I bought a new large studio camera. And this day, a huge portrait lens arrived in the post. So I left the house to try it out. This gentleman was the first person who caught my eye. I quickly knelt down and grabbed this shot before he noticed. But as I wanted to test the lens. I refocused on his right eye and took a few more shots. My normal thing would be to smile and move on. But it did not feel right because of my unusually conspicuous equipment.
So I walked over to him and said hello. It seemed natural to sit down beside him. I explained that my camera and lens were new, and I was trying them out. "I hope you did not mind, but you looked fabulous sitting there, so I took a photograph."
He paused for thought and smiled. "No, I felt special." Another pause then added, "like a film star." His words caused a wave of emotion to flow through me.
We continued to talk, and he told me this bench was a special place for him and his wife. They often come here to talk and take in the veiw. After some time, we hugged, and I left.
When I now look at this photograph, I realise why I purposely framed it. The seat beside him was not empty. But why do I cry.
