Before you declutter your house, give us a call first.

After 37+ years selling homes in Miami, one of the biggest mistakes we see from long-time homeowners is clearing everything out before talking to an agent.

Here’s the truth: a lived-in house with nice furniture often sells better than a vacant one. It looks loved. Empty rooms can feel smaller, and buyers may struggle to picture how to use the space.

We know it’s emotional. You’ve collected a lot over the years, and these days many kids don’t want the Lladró, the Hummels, or the artwork. It can feel overwhelming.

You don’t have to do it alone. We can help you stage what you have or give you recommendations first.

You live in a home and you sell a house. Let us help you turn one into the other.

Follow The Askowitz Group for clear South Florida real-estate guidance, and share this with someone getting ready to sell.

Real estate listing photography can determine whether a buyer keeps scrolling or starts paying attention.

Your first 8 photos need to tell the complete story of the property. Don’t waste them on eight different angles of the front door.

Lead with the features buyers actually care about: the kitchen, backyard, views, renovations, and other standout spaces.

A strong visual first impression gives potential buyers a reason to keep exploring the listing instead of moving on to the next one.

Professional photography isn’t just about making a property look good. It’s about presenting the right features in the right order.

This is why professional real estate photography matters.

The goal isn’t simply to document the house. It is to create a visual story that captures attention and encourages buyers to keep exploring.

When your listing is competing against hundreds of properties online, every photo has a job to do.

We break down listing presentation, marketing strategy, and the details that help agents attract serious buyers in the latest episode of The Real Estate Pipeline Podcast.

What would you put in the first 8 photos of your next listing?

When choosing a real estate agent, reputation matters. Sellers want someone they can trust to represent their property and a name that carries weight in the market.

At RE/MAX All Keys Real Estate, our agents have the strength of a globally recognized brand, with a network spanning 120 countries, behind them. That recognition, combined with local expertise and the right resources, helps our agents stand out and build stronger businesses.

Got a 40-item repair list from the buyer? Take a breath. 😮‍💨

I’ve been selling homes in Miami for 37 years, and I’m telling you: that list doesn’t mean they’re walking away.

It usually means they want the house — and they’re negotiating.

Here’s how I read those lists:

🏠 The real problems — roof, electrical, anything insurance cares about. Handle those.

🎨 The cosmetic stuff they saw on the tour — paint touch-ups, a cracked tile. That’s on them.

💰 Fix vs. credit — still living there? Just fix it. Already moved out?

A cash credit at closing is simpler.
My rule of thumb: if the buyer asks for $40k, expect to land around $20k.

In one of my latest deals, a backup offer made the buyer back down completely — seller paid zero.

Panic loses you money. Patience wins deals.

What nobody tells you about pricing your home 👀

Your listing gets ONE shot at those first 2–3 weeks — that’s when the momentum is. Start too high and buyers start asking what’s wrong with it… then you’re chasing the market down instead of catching it where it is.

Price it right on day one.

The market will always change. The key is having the experience, training, and reputation to navigate it when it does.

At RE/MAX All Keys Real Estate, our agents have the training, experience, and resources to help buyers and sellers navigate changing market conditions with confidence. And when the market gets challenging, having a trusted name and experienced professionals by your side matters.

A higher price sounds great—until it leads to months of price cuts.

When agents give you different estimates, ask: **How did you get to that number?** A thoughtful price should be grounded in comparable homes, nearby sales, and current market activity.
