"You'll never takes us alive
We swore that death will do us part
They'll call our crimes a work of art
You'll never takes us alive
We'll live like spoiled royalty, lovers and partners
Partners in crime"

Releasing on June 15, 2013, Set It Off releases the expanded edition of their debut album Cinematics, which came out on September 18, 2012.

This album is truly one of their best works, taking theatric feels and a alternative sound, Set It Off managed to put out one of the most unique albums out there. This album aside from their 2nd release, Duality, have been the albums that shaped my music taste since it first came out, my favorite band since middle school, everyone involved truly made something special. From heavier songs like Nightmare and I'll Sleep When I'm Dead to ballads like Dad's Song and No Control to songs that makes me feel emotions like Swan Song. This album also gives some spooky nature to it, as how I found out abt the band through amvs with spooky shows/anime lmao. Songs like I mentioned already Nightmare and I'll Sleep, but also with Freak Show and The Grand Finale and ultimately the hit, Partners In Crime.

I highly recommend this album if you like rock and alternative music, it's truly a wild ride.

Fun fact: the clear vinyl is my first ever vinyl I got, which was when it first dropped for the cinematics anniversary lmao

"I don't believe whatever this is
Until you burn all of the witches
I won't believe whatever this is
Whatever they give you
Stop drinking it down"

I Don't Know How But They Found Me

Following Dallons departure from Panic!, he went on to focus on his side project with drummer Ryan Seamen.

Released on November 9, 2018, IDKHow released their first EP, 1981 under the Fearless Records label and this EP is great!

A quite unique sound with it's amazing instrumentals, Dallons vocals are just amazing, and ofc Ryan's drumming helps it stand out.

The lyrics are also really good here and the songs are super catchy like Bleed Magic (this is how I found out abt IDKHOW lol), Absinthe, and ofc Choke. Also I really enjoy the eery found footage (tapes) vibes some of the song have.

I do recommend checking it out ofc, the songs are really dope, the pop rock sound mixed with unique lyricism help this ep become one of the best out there.

Favorite Songs (top 3 cuz it's an EP):
Bleed Magic
Absinthe
Social Climb

"When the light means nothing to you
Then no one would know
The sound of a ghost
And I might be perfect with you
But no one would know"

Putting Pierce The Veil, previously known as Before Today, into the spotlight with an amazing debut album. Brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes released A Flair For The Dramatic on June 26, 2007.

And what an amazing album it is, with a great opening track with a great ending song, A Flair is truly one of a kind, almost felt like telling a story of love and heartbreak. Vic has a way with words, the lyrics hit hard, songs like "Yeah Boy and Doll Face", "The Balcony Scene" and etc. The sound, man is it great, the drumming helps define the album, Mike's drumming (we hate him) did an amazing job here giving the songs the extra punch to grab you, the vocals, hail mary the vocals are amazing. Vic's screams are truly one of a kind, his voice is amazing, from screams to soft vocals, god it makes me levitate. The album grabs your attention from the start as it slowly calms down towards the end which I loved.

One of the best debuts out there, and it only gets better from here. Highly recommend if you love rock or want to feel heartbroken or, JUST CHECK IT OUT, it's old but its amazing!!!

5/5 (crazy right?)

"Spill my blood for you
One too many times
Someway somehow, we've fallen out,
Caught in between my enemies,
No way not now, I won't back down,
I draw the line at you and me,
Your what I started, now disregarded,
One day they'll see, it was always me.
One day they'll see,
It was always me"

Released on December 26, 2011, Falling In Reverse debut their very first record. After Ronnies return to the scene following his run with Escape The Fate. The Drug In Me Is You was a crazy home run. With amazing instrumentals and ofc, Ronnie himself.

This album really became a major staple in the scene, with songs like Im Not A Vampire, title track and Good Girls Bad Guys being popular among the community, for a debut album, i think its awesome to see them be able to hit the ground running and has been nonstop since then.

"Mommy, why do I feel sad?
Should I give him away or feel this bad?
"No, no, no, don't you choke"
Daddy chimed in, "Go for the throat"
For the throat, for, for the throat"

K-12 by Melanie Martinez! The 2nd studio album released on September 6, 2019 (back to school timing fr lmao) and 2nd installment in the crybaby trilogy. This time taking the character into well, school.

Personally speaking, I think its okay, the songs are catchy for the most part but I dont fully feel like it lived up to the succession of the album prior. But songs like Class Fight, High School Sweethearts and Teachers Pet are complete standouts from the rest.

This pressing was my second mel album I got, i did give the variant away, but originally it came in this special gatefold with a popup of the bunny hedge. They've since changed it cuz of the manufacturer but its really cool.

Also seeing Melanie tonight! So thought id post something Melanie related lol

"These are the themes of the way that we love
These are the hearts of lonely people ripped in front of us"

Released on March 8, 2010

The supergroup known as Isles And Glaciers is taking the scene by storm, getting the recognition it indeed deserves afters a good while. Honestly im surprised the project only had one ep to its name given how amazing the tracks are.
Pulling the minds from PTV, SWS, whatever the fuck Jonny Craig was on, D.R.U.G.S. and etc, the songs are super memorable and unique, its crazy!

"I've spent ages losing sleep
While strangers warmed your bed
I know it's over, please be over
There's nothing left to save

Let me let you down
I can't watch you drown with me!"

At long last I finally Showcase this awesome record by the ever so amazing Bad Omens.

Self Titled is the debut album of this group which was released August 19, 2016 and good lord what a way to set the stage.

Bad Omens really feels like is built up from rage, so much about betrayal and hardships, raw emotion from Noah's amazing vocals, which at the point of this era we havent seen how far it could go, and the instrumentals are great as usual.

The photos were a pain to make 😭
