We recently lost a beloved member of our family 💔 We noticed Katie in our backyard around spring of 2019. She was feral and quite shy. She seemed hungry, so we would put food out for her. At first she wouldn’t eat if she could see us. Over the months she slowly warmed up to us, but kept a hard edge to her, ready to fight back at any sign of a threat. When it got cold we bought her a little house and a heated pad that we microwaved twice a day. She was fed and had shelter.
She would watch us and the other cats from her little house on our deck. A curious cat.
Eventually she crafted a little hole in our screen door, and would come and go as she pleased. This started her gradual transition to being an indoor cat.
After a while she was spending most of the time indoors with us.
Katie was such a unique and special cat. Very petite, but big in personality. She was a loud snorer, would grunt when woken up, a lover of all dairy products, and grew into a very affectionate little cat. Rest easy Katie. You’ll always hold a special place in our hearts🖤 by @antihaole

Last year I read this article by Mackenzie Eisenhower (@deadhippie) about skating into your old age. Basically from that article I was sparked to try to film myself skating. I mean, the act of filming yourself seems kind of vain. But, I thought, why not? Just prop the old iPhone in my general direction, let it roll, and see what happens. I’ve always thought it would be cool to put out an ‘old man’ part at some point in my skate life.
Pretty much 90% of the skating I do these days is @tronskatepark ...so it’s pretty heavily featured in this part. I love that park! It’s a dynamic park, got some great locals, and it’s super close to home. But I had to get some street clips in there too. So there’s some street stuff in here too.
Lastly, the song. I wasn’t going to put anything to the skating. Sometimes the best way to enjoy skating is au natural. I tried out a couple of songs, but it didn’t feel right. Too self aggrandizing, or just didn’t work. Then I remembered, like 8 years ago, thinking that the Black Flag version of Wasted would be a great song to put to an old man part. It’s short, fast, and of course has Keith Morris!
So without further ado here it is. Enjoy🤙 by @antihaole

Some pics from the Nordstrom 2018 culinary/specials innovation trip. Being chosen to go on this trip was such an honor. I’m incredibly grateful to all the amazing people who planned it, and all the chefs that took the time from their days to share their amazing food, stories, and city with us. taken in New Orleans, Louisiana by @antihaole
