It’s almost been a week since the Read & Release of Antiko magazine’s first issue, Year of the Woman.

Thank you to @storiesbooksandcafe for hosting a packed outdoor sanctuary for us to celebrate, share, and enjoy creatives that honor Antiko’s intention. Being able to celebrate with some of our favorite people, local family, and new acquaintances was a dream.

May you find us as at a book store nearby very soon, the first being @skylightbooks!

A special shoutout to the writers and artists featured from afar whose works will live forever here. We are touched by these fresh memories captured by photographer @ryin and are excited to continue our footprint.

Overjoyed by the love & support during back-to-back nights of celebrating Antiko and the art it comes with. Highlights from these two special evenings are filled with vulnerability, laughter, connection, and community. Here’s a peek of the nights we’ll never forget.

Thank you to @storiesbooksandcafe for giving us the space to share our works aloud and to be the first to let the world experience Antiko magazine’s Year of the Woman, our first issue. After a highly successful spoken word event, we can’t wait for the next one!

Shoutout to @braindeadstudiosfairfax for supporting independent cinema and featuring @cosmo_bz’s one-of-a-kind experimental documentary short film, serving as our preview & premiere to our dream demographic in Los Angeles with a sold out show. Opening for @stolenkingdomfilm and the electric crowd it came with was the cherry on top.

I am humbled and thrilled by these delicate moments that lean into art, emphasize it, and become contagious. Thank you for following the start of Antiko.
