Antiko Library, a diary companion to the creative world of Antiko, is a new way I’ve decided to start sharing through Substack.

I couldn’t help but write about anything else first for Junkie, a journal series on art, people, places & things through memory and newness that have brought me here, to you. My first entry is a peek into the Country band that changed me and my taste forever, and it’s all my sister’s fault.

It’s that time — Antiko magazine is ready for volume two and this time, submissions are open to any & everyone.

Spread the word, tag your bff who is too talented for words, finish that project collecting dust in your iCloud, vent about the obtuse “American Dream,” tell me about your parent’s life-changing immigration story — we wanna hear it.

It’s almost been a week since the Read & Release of Antiko magazine’s first issue, Year of the Woman.

Thank you to @storiesbooksandcafe for hosting a packed outdoor sanctuary for us to celebrate, share, and enjoy creatives that honor Antiko’s intention. Being able to celebrate with some of our favorite people, local family, and new acquaintances was a dream.

May you find us as at a book store nearby very soon, the first being @skylightbooks!

A special shoutout to the writers and artists featured from afar whose works will live forever here. We are touched by these fresh memories captured by photographer @ryin and are excited to continue our footprint.

Year of the Woman includes special works from:
